    Summary: This paper tries to find out how the virtual museums applied to the field of museology science can complement and enhance its work in promoting the public understanding of science and technology and scientific literacy, critically analyzing their potential and limitations unique. The first part is a review of the state of affairs, beginning with the various features of "virtual" and the "real" as a basis for discussion on the implementation of the virtual learning space. It explores the history, objectives and problems through which materializes the popular science as a shared project with interactive museums and science centers to achieve a scientific culture generally. In the second part, through an experimental research determines the status of virtual museums in Latin America, Spain and Portugal, looking as raise the performance of the actions of the museum in the digital environment. The third part is proposed to implement a Showcase Digital Multimedia Resources in Science and Technology, a technological tool for the realization of actions for scientific literacy and learning in museums and science centers interactive. The convergence between learning objects, digital repositories and virtual museums is presented as an opportunity to advance the educational mission of museums, linking them with the formal education system. In conclusion, the virtual museums open innumerable possibilities of access to demonstrations and cultural creations, creating unique experiences of digital justifying their design, while complementing so relevant training opportunities with the use of information technologies applied to the field of education of science.

    Summary: The contrasting scenarios in this thesis is as follows: The process of creating small local museums pose specific modes of institutionalization own popular culture. This is a theoretical approach to the notions of people and culture, as well as the museum artifact. It was explicit the epistemological foundations, phenomenology and epstemiologías feminists, mainly legalizing the theoretical path by certain authors and sociological schools.     Summary: The crafts sold in the Arts and Crafts Fairs Garibaldi, is a notorious expression dela popular culture and ethnicity in curitiba (provincial capital of Parana / Brazil). This thesis is a study under the budgets of social anthropology, about being curitibano in contemporaneity among 1980 and 2001 by analyzing the origin, development and social practices around this fair. Its central focus is the symbolic and cultural events that characterize the local ethnic diversity, and are present in the artifacts crafted facts, and expressing their own perception and vision of the world.
