Summary: This dissertation analyzes from the point of view of Social Anthropology what has been the evolution of the structures of power in the plateau Mueda, in northern Mozambique in the last 100 analysis based on a characteristic of Anthropology comprehensive, focuses on 3 periods: pre-colonial, colonial and postcolonial. They show the configuration of these power structures, as changed over the years, starting from social structures lineages multilineales until parliamentary democracy, passing through the colonial society and the effervescence of socialism in the postindependencia.
