Place of defense: FACULTAD DE FISICA. UNIVERSIDAD DE LA LAGUNA.
Place of preparation: INSTITUTO DE ASTROFISICA DE CANARIAS.
Summary: In this thesis we present the first study homogeneous and uniform chemical abundances in a wide range of stars and planets in a sample comparison stars without planets detected. We analyzed the chemical abundances in 19 metal, and there were no significant differences. It confirms that the excess iron covers all these metals and investigates the behavior with elementary condensation temperature. All our results suggest that a primary source of excess iron of stars with planets is more likely.
  • DESIGN AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THE PHOTOMETRIC SYSTEM GAIA MISSION OF THE EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY.
    Author: CARRASCO MARTÍNEZ JOSÉ MANUEL.
    Year: 2006.
    University: BARCELONA [www.ub.es].
Place of defense: FACULTAD DE FÍSICA.
Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE FISICA.
Summary: The purpose of this thesis designing the set of filters that are the photometric system of the mission Gaia, of the European Space Agency (ESA), whose main purpose is to provide data to study the formation and evolution dynamics and chemistry Milky Way. The measures photometric provide basic diagnosis to classify all sources and parametrizarlas according to their nature, through observations that include a wide range of wavelengths, from the blue end to the infrared.
