In the second chapter, we address the issue of Eastern exoticism and arábigo-andaluz reflecting the modernist works. Summary: The theory proposed by the present writer's literary Romanian VASILE VOICULESCU (BUZAU, 1884 - BUCHAREST, 1963), one of the most important figures of the Romanian literature of the twentieth century, yet little known in Spain, despite the recent translation of part of its narrative and its publication by the publisher ESPASA - CALPE in 2002. The main focus is, as the title suggests on the aspect of realizing the fantasy element, which is a kind of magical and wonderful folk inspiration, becoming clear space / time typical of the author. At the same time, the genus to which most attention is given prose is not overlooked by the fact that VOICULESCU was also a prominent playwright and poet whose work, cutting mystical and spiritualist, was awarded two major literary prizes. The final chapter compares and approaching VOICULESCU to Spanish-speaking authors of a similar style, especially linking it with the flow of the so-called American magical realism.
