Summary: The first two editions of the overall songbook (Valencia, 1511 and 1514), the largest and most important collection of Spanish poetry of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, have between its pages a wealth of poems for a score of authors of origin Valencian as significant presence in the songbook can be interpreted not as a mere tribute to the locally produced by the compiler, but also as a sounding board for the literary and cultural activity that characterizes the Valencia entresiglos, which crystallizes in poetic competitions, private gatherings , poetic exchanges on topics varied, and so on. The castilianization cultural product of the social and political castilianization the kingdom under the reign of the Catholic kings is not synonymous with decadence during the period studied. The study of the texts reveals, among other things, that the contribution of Valencians documents not so much a shift in the attitude lingüstica as enriching the discovery by class counsel of some models Castilians of undoubted prestige. The roster of authors, which reconciles different generations of poets from very different social and cultural development, consists of Mosén Aguilar, Jeroni dÂ'Artés, Mosén Cabañillas, Lluís and French Castellví, John and Alonso de Cardona, the French Carroç Pardo Casta, Serafí Centelles (Conde de Oliva) and Leonor Centelles (marquis Cortón), the two Lluis Crespí of Valldaura, father and son Bernat Fenollar, Francesc de Fenollet, Juan Fernandez de Heredia, Jaume Gassull, French Mompalau, siblings Luis and Enrique de Monteagudo, Vicent Ferrandis, Miquel Peris, Joan Verdanxa, Jeroni Vich and finally Narcís Vinyoles. Poetry author Valencian, debit, however, the ethics and aesthetics of the fifteenth century Spanish song, is the starting point for this thesis, which has the slogan studying these compositions within its relevant historical background , social and cultural systems as well as the setting of texts -compuestos mostly tongue castellana- according to the parameters of textual criticism. The thesis consists of two parts, dealing respectively of the study and editing of texts. The first part describes and analyzes the framework within which carries the poetic work of the Valencian; provides a brief historical overview of Valencia on the Five Hundred, on the origin and development of poetry in the Crown of Aragon, on the tradition cancioneril Spanish, and finally on the songbook general framework text immediately. This first block of the study also contains a detailed analysis of the entire corpus of poems (themes and motifs, characters, styles, style and language, etc..). The second part contains the annotated edition of the texts, from the testimony provided by the songbook overall 1511 and 1514. The transcript of each poem, based on rigorous criteria edition as detailed in the beginning, is accompanied by a summary that meets the most relevant textual data: identification of the source and text, complete list of other witnesses coming or not songbook general and there are other modern editions. The poems, grouped by author, conveniently identified in the respective biographies, are subject to particularizada attention in this part of the thesis, which in addition to providing the text of the edition, it tries to establish the main foundations for reading and interpretation, since literary broader aspects to the most particular and specific to each and every poem in particular author (parallels with other poems of the songbook, intertextuality, balance between tradition and originality, and so on. thesis closes with some texts in an appendix and an index the first verses, apart from the usual bibliography end, which discriminate between primary and secondary sources employed as theoretical support of the investigation.

Summary: The title of this thesis presents the two-pronged nature of autobiographical writing. Indeed, Siegfried Sassoon is the author of the memoirs of George Sherston that narrate children and youth of the protagonist in the idyllic countryside of southern England, and then their participation in the First World War, especially in the desolate landscapes of the trenches of the western front. The figure did not match the real author, famous writer of poetry of war, along with other poets such as Wilfred Owen, Edward Thomas, Isaac Rosenberg or Edmund Blunden among others, and the narrator and the fictional character, George Sherston mark the distance determines the attachment of this fictional memoir, however, accurately describes the vicissitudes biographical documentary most relevant Sassoon. Therefore, we are faced with a typical case of fiction novel in the first person, or perhaps a fictional autobiography, since in both cases the asymmetry of the bodies of the author and narrador-protagonista punish the pact at the expense of fictional autobiographical pact as defined by Philippe Lejeune. However, the identity of the author, narrator and protagonist that legitimizes the way reading is an autobiographical reference or contractual effect subject to variability historic, in this case, has not prevented the compatibility between speech and his autobiographical fiction pragmatic function within the referential speeches. In this regard, the work of Sassoon uses the memoir genre as a strategic allows one hand freed from the matrix autobiographical through the invention of a fictional character, a fictional construction of its own self, and the deployment of narrative techniques that they had characterized the fictions of Modernism in the third person, such as the use of self monologue or indirect free speech. For another, this is an autobiography that while using the resources of narrative fiction, it is proposed as a true testimony of the First World War and as a constant reflection of the complexity of memory, the paradox between the fascination ethics, often unconscious, and the repudiation of war, or the urgent need to transcend and communicate the experience of war as a chronic pain and as a warning to future generations. Sassoon's work is so in the epicenter of the epistemological and literary renewal that took place during the period between the two World Wars, under the backdrop of the war with a political horizon marked by social turbulence and political and economic crises. Also, this thesis raises the relevance of the literature of war in the debate on modernity and the postmodern literary, as it is commonly referred to the writers of Modernism enshrined when, for example, the autobiographical trilogy of Sassoon introduced many features formal attributed to expressions narratives representing the modern and postmodern sensibility. Sassoon, like other writers, speaking on the emergence of hybrid forms autobiographical. One type of narration that vindicates its historical veracity and uses the techniques of prose fiction to transform the experience marked by chaos and confusion in a literary enduring and moving. Stories showing that the ethical commitment and literary vocation can contribute to the construction of memory.

So, the critical Hispanic occupied the golden prose continues to this day, without being able to delimit consensus on the strict nature of the picaresque novel: while some refuse to Lazarillo as true example of the picaresque and reduce the group picaresque Lazarillo and Guzman, some people just by making this a catch-label where arrumar background such as La Celestina and a progeny seiscentina. Daughters of such discrepancies were controversies over the years maintained by critics as outstanding as Lazaro Carreter and Bataillon, on the one hand, Parker and the British school of the other. However, the excellent taxonomies proposed by several critics from Claudio Guillen have a valid starting point for dissecting the novel until golden Spanish diagnose the exact picarismo of works that are picaresque. This research paper intends to analyze the progression of the picaresque novel Lazarillo up from its consolidation in Europe as a narrative variety. Our itinerary will lead us from Salamanca and Toledo of Lazarillo and, at the hands of errant Estebanillo Gonzalez, our research will be Europe, where the picaresque engendered a kind of literature cutting picaral that are the greatest exponents Gil Blas French and Simplicissimus germano until arrivar to Britain setecentina. Delimiting the picaresque genre fiction, proposed by the critical English-speaking, we feel it is imperative from the perspective of hispanismo, which only has been addressed with reference to Moll Flanders, in the view of Javier Sanchez and some investigative story. Coincidiremos with Claudio Guillen and Harry Sieber put in our research among the publication of Lazarillo in 1554 and that of Roderick Random in 1753. Our research demonstrate the absence of a British picaresque novel per se, except in the work of Daniel Defoe and Tobias Smollett, although the influence of picaresque stories Castilians was instrumental in the creation of the modern novel in the English language.

That is why the work is divided into two distinct parts. The first part includes a brief overview of the history of the magazine to locate the body, and then differentiate the literary currents of post-war birth, development and decline through the critical essays from the magazine. After we have established a classification of thematic stories Ínsula in connection with the periods studied. The second part of our work is focused on the technical procedures employed in the tales of the corpus through the analysis narratológico the same, differentiating levels corresponding to the history and speech. The conclusions arising from analysis lead us to consider the breadth and variety of resources that are used, and thereby removes the myth reducer traditionally attributed to the compositional elements of the story to justify their specific characteristics. The many stories of static body makes us doubt the importance of the "effect" and the uniqueness of the subject that many authors out as generic features needed. Thus we have also seen the need to adapt the history and speech for brevity and economy of the story, as much as the attention at the end. In conclusion, we verify the technical procedures misused leading to lack of interest by some of the stories of the corpus and analyze the causes.

Summary: Saul Torón Navarro (1885-1974) swelled the roster of authors that comprise modernism. This movement, characterized particularly intense in the Canary Islands, reserved for the inhabitants of the so-called Nova Romania to consolidate its voice, a voice that dissents from the originally expressed by the area traditionally regarded as a center. Modernism thus acquires letter nature in that space that needs to be the word. That space, the Atlantic Area, will invest at this time the usual inertia aesthetic to incorporate the voice of another total of writing in Spanish. In the Canaries, as authors Sunday Rivero, Tomas Morales, Alonso Quesada and himself Saul Torón are called to the refounding of a space, the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which is permeated by the idea of Progress and catapultada by the strength of his Port, a possible existence multiple and writing that nomine artificial world, which has intervened decisively man. Saul Torón essentially poet, overturned concerns similar to those of his poetry in his chronicles, in the three plays he wrote in his satirical poetry, gender combined with exercise during lyric few years of his life. His prose develops novelty of modern life. His theater, defined himself as costumbrista, hiding content with what undertake everyday inhabitants of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and nuances houses bordering what has been termed social writing. His satirical poetry represents the development of their intimate mischief and care with which the authors canaries watched the development of the Great War. Her lyrical poetry reveals transit between expansive and intimate. Among the copper coins and face the wall, Resurrection and other poems half a deed committed to modernism, with the decoding of modernity, with the biography of the poet and with the formulation of a poetic, opened by Sunday Rivero, continuing until our days.

Summary: This work begins with a search for the components and mysteries of Beauty and the Sublime. The investigation has led to observe that, in the aesthetic experience, is always a veiled claim and that this sinister element, it is necessary to enable the "catharsis". Here are undertaking an investigation into the incident from the feeling of fear. To this end, establishing the link between the human condition and fear, which is based on the awareness of death. It was also discovered that the expiration of Life refers to the sense of quality, intensity and authenticity of the same. From there, a study of the literature showing greater feeling of fear: the Gothic literature of terror and fantastic. Once the literature focuses its intent in the sense of fear. Discovering the link between that literature and the social context and, therefore, on that basis are detected several cases that infringe on the individual authenticity of the existence and the difficulty of being realized. Also highlighting the elements used to create such emotion and what connections mental develop from them. We refer to the separation, death and its elements, and the demonic monster. Each of these factors is discussed below from various literary works, from where it can be seen that the element or symbol in question is plurívoco and adapts to different lines of research. However, the ontological character and appeal to the authenticity all of them remain in the same way as all are born from a discomfort with the historical and social contexts. Discovering what other literary forms, such as the futuristic science fiction and reveal traits in common with writers and, in them, the attack on the progress, as an enemy of the individual, is greater. This paper also points out other interpretations linking ethics and aesthetics and, after mentioning its most characteristic features, are seen as reductionist. Before concluding, it reveals why the literary and poetic language are able to transcend the language itself and discusses how to act "get in the game", being awakened by the reader or receiver. The paper concludes with the assertion that the aesthetic experience, thanks to its sinister element, it carries in itself a "voice" that requires the search for the man himself, and makes it more open to free him on the possibility of authenticity. And it does so at the expense of the destruction of some fixed schedules and the possibility of risk.
