LIFESTYLES, ETHICS AND AESTHETICS IN THE SUNDAY NEWSPAPERS ABC, THE COUNTRY LEADER (1974-1979)Author: VARGAS CARRILLO MARIA SOLEDAD. Year: 2006. University: AUTÓNOMA DE BARCELONA [ www.uab.es]. Summary: It consists of a systematic analysis and comparison, over the past 25 years, a period of major transformation historical, social and cultural rights in Spain ( 1974-1999). The objective of this research is to analyze how they have submitted Sunday, both at the information and opinion articles used in advertising, these social changes, putting attention on the new lifestyles, ethical and aesthetic values imposed by society consumption. Also, systematize some guidelines for the critical reading of the information and publicity in the press, giving a broader view of reality and plural society. Another aim is to contrast the journalistic texts selected with the historical context and historical explanation of the period, drawn up by historians, with the aim of publicizing aspects of social reality that the speech historiography has been obscured. The fundamental assumption of this research is that Sunday have played a key role in the consolidation of consumer society in Spain during the past 25 years, providing role models, lifestyles and ethical values and aesthetic directed mainly at dominant elites as a form of identification and society in general, as a control. The analysis shows the supplements are three Sunday newspapers published between 1974 and 1999 in national circulation (Spain). TIME AND LITERARY SYSTEM. THE REFORMULATION OF THE PAST IN THE MODERNIST WORK OF ANTONIO MACHADO: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSISAuthor: Fuentes Ríos Arantxa. Year: 2006. Summary: This paper focuses on the study of the ability to act on the past that characterized the speech modernist understood from the late nineteenth century until the early decades of the twentieth. Summary: In this thesis examines the receipt of Virginia Woolf in Spain from a diachronic perspective, in an attempt to determine how his work has been embraced over time and what place has been awarded to the English writer in the literary Spanish .
