Summary: Study about fifty novels characterized by the presence of the character "teacher", carrying a pedagogical ideology, for a disciple or a group of them. From this material, it delves into two concepts: the pedagogical and on the subgenera narrative that the literary tradition has to peripecia education. The first chapter is an introduction in which he presented operationally distinctive subgenre of "educational novel" or "Bildungsroman," and other subgenera related. The four chapters following breakdown novels profiling teaching contained in a separate, depending on the different type of character and the educational institution. Thus, the second chapter, "The characters teachers and school teachers," reflects the character in his teaching role within the channel of the realistic novel featuring almost always secondary. The third chapter, "The professor, the main character" incorporates those novels in which the educational program is exceeding the framework of conventional school to pursue a teaching alternative to institutional structures, which are based on the narrative outline of the novel teaching " but that was dissolved in schemes "novel training." The fourth chapter, "Internships religious" groups novels antiformativas ( "anti-Bildungsmman") in which the main character is a young girl who receives instruction school, boarding facilities, in charge of religious congregations, almost always with high coercive teaching and inappropriate ways (especially in seminars and centers Jesuits). And the last chapter analyzes samples "novels customs university," close to the picaresque, in which the professor has any role, even when relegated, as a rule, to a subsidiary role, witness the fossilization of the learning academics.

Summary: This thesis seeks to demonstrate the influence that poetry arabigoandaluza exercised in poets such as Fernando de Herrera, Luis de Góngora or Soto de Rojas. In the first part of the work are discussed at length with the historical and cultural significance of the literary world of Al-Andalus, the role played in the formation of Western Christian thought; relations juglares and troubadours with a business of the medieval Andalusia and, finally, checking that the recognition of the lyrical arabigoandaluza had large Italian authors of the centuries XIII and XIV, as related to our literature of the century Golden. The second part covers already studying the footprint left for the poetry of Al-Andalus in Spanish literature from the thirteenth century to stop focusing on the works of the great writers of the Renaissance and Baroque, main reason for this work. Our thesis seeks to demonstrate the following: beyond the influences that Herrera Soto Góngora y de Rojas were able to receive the literature grecolatina, the role played in them by poetry arabigoandaluza and the lyrical popular traditional type has been very important and Moreover, many poetic that have been associated with our poets, such as the provincial or the Italians Dante and Petrarch, also received direct influence of the writers of Al-Andalus. The thematic relationships established in the third part of our work led us to the following conclusions: numerous thematic grounds and resources present in the works of Herrera Soto Góngora y de Rojas seem to do the indigenous culture, and they could have come up mostly from the same Andalusia, through oral and written tradition, and in fewer cases, by the way indirect troubadours and poets Italians. This is what we seem to highlight the more than one hundred themes and expressive relationships established in our study.

Summary: This dissertation argues that there are two main conceptions of translation: translation as a site and translation as a practice. Although they are both interrelated, each responds to different problems and concerns. Methodologically, translation as a site can be used as a tool on a range of literary investigations of different nature and upon texts and materials of different type, both synchronic and diachronic. After having validated the conception of translation as a site as a plausible method of literary analysis, this dissertation shows that translation between Chinese and Western cultures between 1908 and 1934 was practiced through embodiment, something which had several consequences: (a) over personal and social spheres: in the subjectivity of the writer and his or her characters, and the circulation of them in society; (b) over the process of cultural translation; (c) more generally, in the conceptualization of Chinese literature itself. Contrasting this situation with the context of Chinese literature between 1979 and 1999, this dissertation proves that, in spite of the mirage that might make us think that, due to globalization, the process of translation has become disembodied, embodied translation still plays and important role in cross-cultural communication. Chinese literature (and culture) becomes internationally visible precisely when it appears under embodied form in a process of cultural translation. This opportunity to be visualized is related to controversy and is also inscribed within certain imperatives. Thus, translation cannot be conceived as a simple bridge or as a neutral act of hospitality between languages and cultures.

Summary: The thesis examines the work of Anibal Nunez (Salamanca, 1944-1987) in the context of postmodern poetry. The insertion of his books in the context of this archipoética is its main scenario. Linked to the trunk aesthetic common sesentayochismo, his poetry expresses attitudes rhetorical criticism and procedures similar to the language, the reality and artistic conventions. In light of such methodological premise, this study raises their participation in the formal features of their promotion, but also realizes its equidistance with contemporary trends. Of speculative, the first part deals Postmodernism as a paradigm of beauty where resistance activity lyrical frame of 68. The first chapter covers the definition of the term since the timing of their contributions and their theoretical ideological signs. Raised as a "cultural logic of advanced capitalism", the loss of the critical role of culture in society "postindustrial" distinguishes it from its modern self. The subjugation of art in the system involves a clash between a culture and artistic practices integrated ideologically reluctant to its integration: the latter promote critical reflection of the representation to challenge their insurmountable homogenization in the code. Genealógicamente related to the heterodoxies of "modernity another," this postmodernism acts of resistance against the structures of domination ideological and symbolic. Under such circumstances, the second chapter examines the rhetorical strategies by which it is carried out such purposes. The metapoesía unmasks the value of language through a repressive textualidad reflexive. The focus on the critical process of writing allows questioning the relationship between language and consistency world, and insufficient evidence to the real one. The uncertainty opens the lyrical speech to an area of interpretative uncertainty affecting the referential nature of the poem. The kenofilia is a resource issue that stands in silence, paradoxically, the poetic experience. Based on this, resemantización topos of "death" identifies writing with a vacuum ontological holding the sign poetic. Such mechanisms reflect the failure of the poem to hear the facts or reconstruct the memory of the subject who writes. The third chapter refers to the outbreak of this poetic in the generation of 68. Observed precedents, consolidation takes place in the historical context of the opening of Franco neoliberalism West. Faced with the new situation, sesentayochismo expressed a commitment to revise the cultural tradition and contravene the language of power. The inability to lie outside the system allowed these authors engage in a critique from the same language. In a system whose ideological repression is based on the productivity of the media, his denial happening in contradiction of the premises on which it is based: reject productivity language saturation (culturalist) or impoverishment (poetic silence) is a way implicit protest. The second part discusses the poetic works of Anibal Nunez in the context mentioned. The fourth chapter looks back on his participation in this poetry from the primacy of language. His stylistic evolution provides a peculiar timing with the generational changes around 1974 and 1977, while the three stages in which this specific trajectory remain internally consistent because of a sharp personal style. Linked to the renewal of realism, his poetry initial (1967-1974) is a chronicle of Franco sarcastic and ferocious satire against new social mores of Spain's desarrollismo. The year 1974 marks a watershed in the evolution of her writing: the abandonment of the camp shows his poetic multiforme its second phase (1975-1980). His speech is linked to fragmented ..

Summary: We conducted a typology theme applied to novels chicanes addressing the Vietnam War. The context to which it is confined our analysis of comparative literature and multicultural studies. Following current theories that deny the principle of autonomy of the literary text we have supported in other areas such as cultural anthropology, sociology and psychology, in particular the theory of trauma. The research is divided into seven major parts. The first concerns the framework historigráfico and literary theorist of Chicano literature, which includes a general introduction, as well as a refresher for their gender representative and thematic aspects. The second part undertakes the textual analysis of comparative corpus selected. Considered the theoretical and methodological foundations, it provides an overview of the novel Vietnam no-chicana and explains the war as a common semantic extensional novels studied chicanes and other outside body, as well as other genres (story, autobiography ). The sides third, fourth, fifth and sixth include a study narratológico each of the novels of the corpus, which includes an analysis of their base semantics and a thematic study structural. The seventh part comprises the conclusions which we reached. The theory of literature, in particular the narratology and tematología comparative, based our analysis. The overall intertext (affinity of time and gender) imposes on the novel of the Vietnam War demand for verisimilitude. This issue has allowed us to include a narrative about Vietnam Chicano representation within realistic fiction. The typology thematic treated textual analysis and comparative we have established a pattern consists of three phases narratives to explain the foundations temático-estructural of the novels of authors and veterans Chicano studied. The first phase will produce condensation of the conflict. In this section the figures show that Vietnam is an absurd war and their struggle to survive main focuses. The second phase creates a difficult conflict of output that the soldier face with racism, the death of comrades or killing their superiors. Finally, the third phase prepares the outcome, and each individual is faced with the trauma experienced. The three phases narratives are unequally distributed in accordance with the decision of each author, but are kept in the four novels; differences vary in terms of the tempo or pace of events. All texts present a fragmented style typical of the novels of Vietnam and the Chicano fiction. The specificity of the themes in the novels recreated chicanes on the Vietnam War, with regard to the novels of Vietnam no-chicanas, is the criticism made to the government and the material they handle conflicting, as forms of masculinity Latino manipulated the army, along with patriotism and institutional racism.
