Summary: The continuing technological development of existing programs Earth observation and methodology has resulted in a wide application in order to understand the processes occurring in the biosphere. This has resulted in a strong demand for a product accurate, consistent and of high quality. However, this demand requires defining strategies validation and intercomparison of the products to ensure their consistency with respect to spatial and temporal reference values and current products. The main aim of this thesis has been to develop a methodology that allows caracterizaicón especially high resolution of the biophysical parameters: LAI, FVC and FAPAR from measures on the spot, for use as verdad-terreno in validating products directly biophysical. Moreover, it has conducted indirect validation of the products in low resolution for the entire Iberian Peninsula.
