Summary: The study area is located in the NE tip of the province of Huesca, in the so-called Axial area of the Pyrenees and has an area of 297 km2. This thesis has been made geomorphological study of this mountain area at 1:25.000, devoting special attention to sackungen and two types of rapid movements of slope: flows derrubios (debris flows) and detachment of rocks (rock- falls). The honoree has been involved with a grant from the Institute of Geological and Mining Spain (IGME) in the Project DAMOCLES (EVG1-
1999-00027P) V program funded by the EU framework, with researchers from the universities of Newcastle (UK), Milan - Bicocca (Italy) and Padova (Italy), and CNR-IRPI Perugia (Italy), CNR-CSITE Bologna (Italy), IPE-CSIC Zaragoza and own IGME. Through the implementation of some models that have been developed in Project DAMOCLES has estimated the potential of the study area to be affected by flows and landslides derrubios rock.
