    Summary: The Extractive industries of Granite generates a huge environmental impact on the immediate environment, which can be offset with the use and recycling of products that currently are discarded virtually in its entirety, within a sustainable development of the Environment. We have formed three línes major research Derivation and implementation of aggregates marginal Granite Extremadura; finishes, textures and surface treatments and Accelerated Aging Processes. The transformation of the huge heaps in aggregates is done through the crusher plant that the government of Extremadura has built in the vicinity of the quarry. The process of transforming the rubble produces aggregates of various sizes and particle size, its main use being at present aggregates for concrete and roads. It explores a new utility for aggregates of Granite by developing a loseta artificial aspects and texture similar to Granite Natural some característics mechanical excellent, with a cost significantly lower than that of natural stone. Through research with different types of surface treatments that are currently applied to Granite, have studied the characteristics and utilities most appropriate for each type of finish depending on the aggressiveness of the environment or the environment in which the piece is placed , with immediate applications to the restoration processes of accelerated aging and scattered granite aggregates for marginal.
