Summary: It has sought to conduct a comprehensive study of brachiopod present at the Basin Lusitánica within a time frame that includes the Toarciense Lower until Bajociense lower. It has a comprehensive collection of materials in stratigraphic sections representing different sedimentary environments in the watershed, this material has been prepared and studied in detail in its internal and external morphology. In Basin Lusitánica have been identified for the interval studied, 24 species belonging to 14 different genres; of these species, 11 have not been previously described by what they are new species, also describes 4 new genera to include some of these species or others that were not included in other genres, there is a systematic detailed description of all these taxa. Have been developed, based on the meterial studied columns bioestratigráficas which maps the distribution of species in different regions of the basin. It is proposed, based on the analysis of the distributions of the various species and groups, a biozonación period studied based on the vertical distribution of the brachiopod: compares this biozonación with other established basins forthcoming. It discusses relations paleobiogeográficas of the faunas of the Basin Luistánica with those of other basins along the interval studied, and proposes a model of dispersion of the taxa in the Northern Tethys. It explores the relationship of the various associations of species of brachiopod with conditions in the sedimentary environments, evaluating the usefulness of these partnerships as paleoenvironmental indicator. In different storylines, explores the changes in the transit Jurassic inferior-Jurásico half are produced and replacements species result of these changes.
