Summary: The research seeks to establish the success associated with the convergence of three variables: "Economy, Tourism and MERCOSUL. The central theme of this research is to address different approaches and short deepening in the economy to show that we recognize the phenomenon of travel (Tourism) great economic significance, with large multiplier effects. MERCOSUR mark the axis of the thesis and adds value by the natural and ecological values that has, in addition to that open borders advocates free movement between member states of the Treaty of Mercosur members (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) . It was recognized and addressed in the context of ecotourism subjects such as landscapes, the potential geographic, culture, activities, infrastructure, etc., which show the presence of poles with strong potential for this form of tourism, these are issues carefully documented and discussed in the research work. Also part of the work analyzing financial incentives (loans sunk), as well as the media and various legislative bodies support that make possible the development of ecotourism. Finally, economic sustainability, environmental and social performance is analyzed as a factor prepondereante for the consolidation and permanence of ecotourism.
