Summary: The theory of games through its simplest models offer solutions allows analysis to the field of industrial organization. The present research work demonstrates the above for analysis of competition in markets in the process of liberalization as the railways Spanish. The dissertation presents and tries to solve three models of competence intramodal with input on the demand side of introducing discrete choice models clearly not linear. The three models are referred to competition in pricing, competition in prices and frequencies and price competition in a specific environment variable. The result shows that the basis of an initial model of competition on price and performance offered a description of the demand in the rail sector applied to the corridor Madrid can be perfected through the following two models. In particular the model for competition in prices with variable specific to introduce variables relating to the quality and learning from established by the company meet the new railway operators. The results obtained show the conditions ahead of the company established (at least for the case study) can be reduced if the new entrant states with competitive advantage in costs. The model allows for selected prices, market share, economic performance and calculate profitability, leading to the market share of the incoming operator (for the Madrid corridor is established between a 25 and 30%).
