PROPOSAL FOR A METHODOLOGY FOR ALIGNMENT OF THE STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPANY SATISFIED WITH THE OBJECTIVES FOR ITS ONLINE CHANNEL, USING STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS AND TECHNICAL AID TO DECISION-MAKING MULTI: AHP AND ANPAuthor: CABALLERO LUQUE ANTONIO. Year: 2004. University: POLITÉCNICA DE VALENCIA [ www.upv.es]. Place of defense: Dep. Proyectos de Ingenieria. Place of preparation: Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Summary: The main purpose of this Ph.D. Thesis, is to create and develop an operational model for measuring the alignment of organizational goals, objectives satisfied with its Channel Online, using techniques based on Decision Analysis Multicriteria (MCDA) Process Analysis Hierarchical Process (AHP) and the Network Analysis (PNA) of Saaty and Structural Analysis (EA) of Gore. The methodology has been applied to two specific cases: the website of the Foundation Bancaja (www.bancaja.es / obrasocial) and the website of the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (www.etsii. upv.es). The work begins with an analysis of the environment focused on the Information Society and the Internet and how e-business strategy is integrated within the company's strategy. Here arises a reflection on the goals of the company and its website and notes that the most important decision on the project site is to determine the contents of the same. It was also noted the role of market segments and presents a model of influences, based on AE, AHP and ANP, which prioritize the objectives of the website based on content that meets and segments those who are directed. Finally, it compares the prioritization obtained by this model with the prioritization of the strategic objectives of the company to verify their degree of alignment. The main conclusion is obtained is the development of a methodology to assess the extent to which the hypothesis is true that the site contributes to fulfilling the role of communication between the company and the customer and know the extent to which the objectives of Channel Online they are aligned with the objectives of the organization. ANALYSIS COMPETITIVE THROUGH STRATEGIC GROUPS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE PERFORMANCE: APPLICATION TO THE SPANISH HOTEL INDUSTRYAuthor: PEREIRA MOLINER JORGE. Year: 2004. University: ALICANTE [ www.ua.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS ECONÓMICAS Y EMPRESARIALES. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS ECONÓMICAS Y EMPRESARIALES. Summary: In this study is a detailed analysis of the various ways of competing in the hotel industry. To do so, is a descriptive analysis of a series of strategic variables, identifies the competitive strategies of the sector, the hotels are grouped by size, type of management, category, type of tourism and competitive strategies that implanted, discusses the differences performance between groups obtained and among companies within each group and finally, it is determined that the enterprise performance degree explain each of the competitive strategies learned. The first chapter develops the theory of strategic groups showing its concept, its usefulness, since the theoretical approaches that can be studied, and raises the contrasting scenarios from a debate on the validity of the predictive strategic groups and the intra-group differences in performance. The second chapter justifies the economic importance of tourism and hotel industry. It deepens in its structure and the critical success factors that influence the performance of the hotels. The third chapter outlines the analytical methods used to meet the goals and contrasting scenarios. In the fourth chapter shows the results obtained. In the fifth chapter includes the study's findings. STUDY ON THE INTEGRATION OF THE INTEREST GROUPS IN THE ENTERPRISEAuthor: PLAZA UBEDA JOSE ANTONIO. Year: 2004. University: ALMERÍA [ www.ual.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE CC. EE Y EMPRESARIALES. Place of preparation: UNIVERSIDAD DE ALMERIA. Summary: The objective of this Doctoral Thesis is to help develop the theory of interest groups (stakeholders), analyzing a central element of the same: the integration of the interest groups in the management empresrial. We review the dimensions that make up the integration of groups of interest and ustifica its carácterde strategic capacity. The theoretical framework is used as a central element work on stakeholders, as well as the theory of resources and skills and teória behavioral planned. The paper proposes and empirically valid original scale to measure the integration of stakeholders in corporate governance. It also evaluates the relationship between capability and enterprise performance, both directly and indirectly through other business skills such as environmental management, business innovation and organizational learning. The survey results empítico show that the integration of genetic stakeholders in the company with a greater direct impact on the outcome that indirect business and the achievement of competitive advantage. QUEUING LOCATION MODELS: FORMULATIONS AND HEURISTICSAuthor: FERREIRA SILVA FRANCISCO JOSÉ. Year: 2004. University: POMPEU FABRA [ www.upf.edu]. Place of defense: DEPARTAMENTO DE ECONOMÍA Y EMPRESA. Place of preparation: DEPARTAMENTO DE ECONOMÍA Y EMPRESA. Summary: The problems of queues and problems of localization are closely related. Decisions location services, factories or stores, which do not consider the expected size of the queue or waiting time can congestionar services, increase costs and lead to a loss of competitive power. The research has focused on emergency services. However, the queues seemed to have a significant impact on other sectors. In this Doctoral Thesis provides new formulations, both in the public sector and private, related models maximum coverage of competitive location, and location of facilities with capacity limit. For each of the thematic proposals, objectives include the revision of the earlier investigations conducted with respect to similar problems, the formulation of a new model and the development of a heuristic search for a solution to the problem MARKETING SOCIAL AND SUSTAINABLE TOURISM FROM AN INCLUSIVE PERSPECTIVE. STUDY OF THE DEGREE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMPREHENSIVE SECURITY COMPANIES IN THE REGION OF MURCIAAuthor: DOLÓN PAYÁN ANDRÉS JUAN. Year: 2005. University: POLITÉCNICA DE CARTAGENA [ www.upct.es]. Place of defense: UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE CARTAGENA. Place of preparation: UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE CARTAGENA. Summary: The study begins with an overview, in the first chapter, on the historical origins and evolution of the safety, and then from the traditional concept of security, we enter the new concept of this term is expected to take the purported comprehensive security, exposing what the common situations in which they are the assets of a company, what is a security system and what are the core functions to be met by a security system to subsequently apply specifically to the enterprise level. Below is, in the second chapter, a brief description dela study population with a very large economy, the productive sectors and the business environment in the region, presenting this information on to its geographical organization, the main aspects of its production structure, existing businesses and their distribution as the main industry and the number of workers. Secondly, outlined in this chapter, the process has been followed in the study to establish the domain of companies that will be the subject of study, therefore, analyzes the business of Murcia on the basis of its size and the specific legislation that are subject to a specific group of them because of the special risks that affect them, and it will help us determine what exactly is the domain of companies that are going to study. The third chapter describes the methodology followed for the design of a sample stratified and for determining the size of the same and each of the layers. It also describes the contents of the survey that has been made to obtain information from companies to observe, through personal interviews, it as justification of the questions included in the questionnaire. The survey consists of 79 questions distributed in the following nine paragraphs from B to J (In the first paragraph has been used to collect data from general business classification): B-Security against antisocial acts (intrusion and theft). C-Safety fire. D-Safety at Work (prevention of occupational hazards). E-Information security. F-Secure Environment. G-Resources employees in safety. H-Training in safety. I-Structure of the department of security. J-system security management. In the fourth chapter conducts a statistical analysis of the results of the companies noted. Initially this analysis is performed for each five delos designed strata of the sample and for the entire population, then the sample has been pos-estratíficado according to the following criteria, carried out the analysis for each of them; main activity of enterprises, geographical location, sex of the person responsible for safety and number of employees. In abbreviated form analysis has been carried out as follows: for each question of the survey has been calculated estimation timely resorting to the often seen as a linear estimator instigated the minimum variance; below has been calculated an estimate by confidence interval parameter at issue and arrive at an interval centered on the estimator timely and semiamplitud twice the standard deviation estimated by the cuasidesviación typical sample. These two calculations have been performed for each of the questions in the survey and for the following five cases listed above: * For each of the five layers designed for the sample. * As principal activity of the company: agriculture, construction, manufacturing and services. * According to the geographical location of the business center, nornoroeste and south. * According to the sex of the person responsible for security in the enterprise: man and woman. * 8 Under cd2 number of employees: [50, 100], [101, 200] and greater 200. Then, in each of the 45 cases contained (9 points x 5 criteria of the study sample) we have raised if the results differed from one another subpopulation. This has been made possible comparisons for each pair of subpopulations and has been systematically compared each subpopulation with the results for the entire population, called "pattern". Due to the possible non-normality of the data has been used a methodology to detect non - parametric peculiarities of one or more subpopulations, at this point has been made specifically contrasts of homogeneity. In the fifth chapter presents safety indexes constructed for each of the companies found to analyze the capabilities they have in each of the areas of risk or security aspects studied, as well as comprehensive security. This has been constructed synthetic indices and sub-indices that allow us to make comparisons between different areas or security aspects on the one hand and between different strata and groups of companies designed, on the other. The indexes have been constructed as follows. PARTIAL INDICES: * Contents of security against antisocial acts (intrusion and theft). * Contents of fire safety. * Contents of safety (accident prevention regulations). * Contents of information security. * Contents of environmental security. * Contents of resources spent on security. * Contents of safety training. * Contents of the structure of the department of security and system security management. INDICES SINTÉTICOS: * synthetic index of activity in comprehensive security. * Contents synthetic comprehensive security management. In the sixth chapter lists the most relevant findings obtained from the analysis of the previous chapters, these conclusions are presented separately for each of the safety aspects studied in the report and are accompanied by tables and charts that help us to interpret the results, collecting subpopulations that have been seen as different and noting the security aspect in which this difference has been appreciated. Finally, it incorporates a final chapter in which proposes the future lines of inquiry which is estimated can be of great interest and that undoubtedly will complement this thesis. NOVES TÉCNIQUES OF GESTIÓ PER AL'EMPRESA PROMOTER BUILDERAuthor: CASSÚ SERRA ELVIRA. Year: 2005. University: GIRONA [ www.udg.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS ECONÓMICAS Y EMPRESARIALES. Place of preparation: UNIVERSIDAD DE GIRONA. Summary: In the area of promoting construction, especially in the subsector of promoting housing construction, the employer must have a good knowledge of the environment variables and that consideration of them will be critical to making decisions about planning strategically. In our country, as elsewhere in Europe, we live a phase of socio-economic changes that make it difficult to forecast future behavior of the environment variables. Therefore, the subject decisor is in a climate of uncertainty that is exacerbated by the majority presence of qualitative factors are difficult to quantify. Then, the employer promoter builder must go to the technical and operational management bear this situation and this will be possible from the tools offered by the fuzzy logic. This thesis is structured in three parts. In the first part, set out the specific characteristics and evolution of the sector and the promotion of housing construction in general, and more particularly, in the city of Girona. In the second part, we explained the principal foundations of the theory of fuzzy subsets together with the input from various operational techniques that will be useful to us in the subsequent treatment of problems associated with decision-making and business management sector dela promotion and construction . Finally, in the third prte, exposing various applications of the methodology blurred for the establishment of new management strategies applied to the sector under consideration. ANALYSIS OF THE APPLICABILITY OF THE CONCEPT IN RELATION TO OVERCOME IN THE MANAGEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMSAuthor: MONTERDE DÍAZ RAFAEL. Year: 2006. University: POLITÉCNICA DE VALENCIA [ www.upv.es]. Place of defense: Dep. Proyectos de Ingenieria. Place of preparation: Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
Summary: The present research has sought to conduct a new methodological proposal to strengthen the decision-making processes at various stages, areas, or projects, in general, applications of environmental management. To that end, work has been done about the applicability of a set of mathematical tools with a strong operational guidance: techniques discrete multi decision support (MCDM). In particular, it has sought to justify the use of the concept of "relationship overcoming" (or relationship overgrading, English outranking) from the Theory of Decision and developed by the so-called "school French." This concept is about more accurately, in its theoretical level, understanding of environmental management processes and the consideration of environmental realities analyzed, taking into account issues like the multidimensionality or the degree of uncertainty inherent in the information handled in planning processes and environmental assessment. Since the introduction of the concept of overcoming relationship as fundamental approach, developed three applications of the same tasks in improving key processes in environmental management. To do so, using techniques ELECTRE III ELECTRE TRI and other methods multi (Weighted Sum, PROMETHEE II AHP) as a comparative analysis. GENERALIZACIONES THE DISTRIBUTION BIPARABÓLICA: APPLICATIONS IN THE FINANCIAL FIELD AND THE FIELD OF VALUATION.Author: GRACÍA GARCÍA CATALINA. Year: 2006. University: GRANADA [ www.ugr.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS ECONÓMICAS Y EMPRESARIALES. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS ECONÓMICAS Y EMPRESARIALES. Summary: This report is based on a fundamental method of the two distribution functions (MDFD), which was introduced by Ballestero in 1971. This method allows valuing an asset from an exogenous variable, index. Have a great application, especially in land valuation, and she drew attention that is not yet reflected in the Order ECO 805/2003. It differs from other methods, based on comparative techniques, which is the only applicable atmosphere of uncertainty des say, when no information is available on line and use an expert, following the well known PERT methodology. The memory is composed of five chapters. First, distributions are reviewed both in the methodology used PERT as in the MDFD incorporating, traditionally applied to distributions, the two-sided power distribution, distribution topp-leone and distribution dish. In the second chapter, presents the distribution biparabólica as an appropriate candidate for application in both methodologies. This is a limited distribution, with the possibility of asymmetry derivable at the point or points manners and can be determined based on information provided by the expert. Based on the system generator van Dorp and Kotz, in the third chapter, generalizala distribution biaprabólica to one two branches potential. It presents interesting processes greeting that identify completely distributions tetara and penta-paramétricas resulting, respectively, from generalizations of one two branches potential. They apply distributions penta-paramétricas in the MDFD and buy the results with those obtained by regression analysis and synthesis method. In the fourth chapter, the memory is the extension of MDFD the case multi index. This line of inquiry, very studied in the literature, is covered in a manner completely original in the report because it is the first time that applies the tool copulation in the context of MDFD; copula FGM is used for the construction of the joint distribution function from the distribution function marginal two indexes. It makes its application in atmosphere of uncertainty in climate risk. Lastly, and ignoring the MDFD, adapted by a resignation of parameters, the distribution biparabólica and distribution TSP for application in the financial field. We analyze the asymptotic behavior of the TSP distributions biparaabólica and by building their respective ditribuciones asymptotic. Discusses stock index DJ Eurostoxx 20, in terms of its asymmetry and kurtosis, conco different scenarios. We adjusted assets belonging to this index through distributions presented in memory. It develops a simplified procedure adjustment based on the curtosisi to normal distribution, and distributions asintóticas of TSP distributions and biparabólica. In a chapter recapitularon reflects the findings and research that are open in this report. |
