Summary: The entry of the company into international markets has gained importance increasingly noticeable in business strategy. The ability of firms to enter and to successfully develop its business in overseas markets requires the possession of differential competitive advantages, which are mainly dependent on resource endowments and capabilities of the company. So the purpose of this doctoral work is the analysis of the effect of the resources of the intangible nature (technology, human capital, organizational and reputational) on the behavior of the exporting company. The empirical study of the behavior exporter is a dualistic way. We analyze the decision and logit models exported by probit and intensity of sales in international markets through models tobit. These estimates were made with cross section data, but further refinement is done through analysis of transition, which shows some significant variations with respect to the cross section analysis, and therefore contributes to obtain more precise results and hence more robust reliable. The results of our work indicate that the technological resources and the resources of an organization are key facts in the conduct of the exporting company. With regard to the resources of human capital and reputation results do not allow us to say that its effect is positive and significant behavior exporter.
