Summary: In this paper are claimed as works of architecture automatically to the floating construction since the implementation of the steam engine to navigation becoming a passenger vessels into fragments mobile territory without tying paisajísta concrete without genius loci- structured cities in the form of mobile, very clearly diversified and socially stratified, a hardware qu was the technological edge of their mometo. The study is divided into two partes.En first is the historical fact that founded the steamship, which, thanks to its rovolucinario propulsion system, I am freed from the dictates of the winds and tides, without acquiring an autonomous status precedents until entonces.Para It has analyzed composition and fosonómicamente the transition from sailing trasoceánico toward the ship mechanic: their organizational changes, progresico increased size and speed of unidadesl increasing complexity and sophistication of its facilities and spaces interriores, addressing both its characters themselves, and the connections estilísticas and authorship for the works of land adentro.También are analyzed changes fisonómicos ie compositional - such ships in period 1850- 1939, traavés mainly from the processing formally observed in its basic characteristic: caso -distinguiendo between bow, stern and middle third - and superstructure and the willingness and adaptations successive section of the ship, where he is forced to reconcile the complex reasons, nautical and architectural. The second, assuming knowledge of the varied overall context that determines the fundamental characteristics of passenger vessels at the stage chosen, is devoted to the description and analysis of lasituación Spanish during it, taking the record as the unifying theme of the enterprising Company Transatlantic Hispaniola, the largest national shipping over these years, and using, among other sources, material inedito-placas photographs and drawings -existentes in the Historical Archives Museum's "The Dock" in Puerto Shipyard Real (Cadiz), factory pioneer in the production of passenger ships mechanics since 1892. The work, divided into three volumes: text, illustrations and shot selection, establishing a point of view originas for consideration and esturdio of passenger ships as facts arquitectónicos-arquitecturas flotantes-, opening, and also suggestive multiple pathways for future investigations.
E-DO: THE URBAN EFFECTS OF INFORMATION TECNOLOGY IN TOKYO.Author: ARROYO ALBA PEDRO PABLO. Year: 2003. University: POLITÉCNICA DE MADRID [ www.upm.es]. Place of defense: ESCUELA TÉCNICA SUPERIOR DE ARQUITECTURA DE MADRID. Place of preparation: ESCUELA TÉCNICA SUPERIOR DE ARQUITECTURA DE MADRID. Summary: INTRODUCTION: The topic for the thesis is the process of diffusion of digital technology comtemporánea.El issue that I raise is the investigation of the architectural and urban effects of this phenomenon, because we must recognize that urban available theories do not provide resources for the dynamic dirivan of new tecnologías.Existen estensa literature and research on the subject of the study, although the critical review of the same reveals certain insuficiencias.Primero, being developed by disciplines destintas to architecture. Second, every theory refers to a single urban scale, finally, we take the American city as a model referential making technology. The investigation of the thesis show the following scenario: Tokyo represents an alternative model of urban and architectural effects of the adoption of the technologies of the information digital.El method proposed addresses the shortcomings of other investigations, analyzing a complex spatial non-Western, the diversar scales componene urban structure, and interprets the examples from the architectural discipline. RESEARCH The current state of urban applications of information technology in Tokyo is a historic contrucción whose evolutionary development is introduced from determining historical, architectural and industriales.El analysis climb examples of technological system is developed using as a reference the coordinates postal progressive inclusion therefore fairly represents the structure of Japanese territory. CITY: GPS-assisted navigation, trip around the Bay Tokyo.DISTRITO: information system at point of sale networks konbinis.SECTOR: concentration of companies on the Internet, Bit Valley Shibuya.MANZANA: electrolumniscencia inorganic, building Q-Front and the landscape urbano.EDIFICIO: design by algorithm, eldiseño induced. ROOM: industrial production demand wed, cuusoo. INDIVIDUAL: Japanese mobile Internet, i-mode.OBJETO: electromininiscencia organic, a future visual plastic. CONCLUSION: From a physical point of view, new technologies break the limits objetuales of funciones.Desde an operational point of view. We can simulate processes with may9or precision analog and obtain instant information and simultaneous remote parameter without contunuidad espacial.El individual, as sopote-sujeto acquires a state of ulta-nomadismo, which is capable of updating their location and admas location the objects in the ciudad.Entonces, information desponible helps replace spaces redundant paths for static and in dynamic equilibrium. Indeed, the effects of architecture and urban employment in the digital information technologies in Tokyo offer a molelo alternaativo: E-DO, the path of electrónica.Si the foundation of the western model means a tecología expansion and adaptation of the city technology E-DO is based on a tenología shrinkage and involves adapting the technology to the town, the adjustment to urban order, which conseva principles local viewed in the evolution histórica.En the information age, E - OJ ejempliza the paticularización systems tecnologícos a given urban context, different for each city. Summary: The growing demand for competitiveness of industrial enterprises has led in recent years to an increase in interest in optimizing their distribution in plant for the sake of reducing their production costs at the same time has created the need for tools systematic approach to address this problem. Given the increasing interest in recent decades, many authors have developed several lines of research to address the problem of optimizing plant in distributions. This thesis suggests three algorithms optimization multiobjetivo to generate distributions in Plant at the stage of "layout" of the whole, based on the technique of "cooling sham" (Simulated Annealint). The optimization multiobjetivo is performed both for the cost of maintenance associated with the flow of materials between the activities of the plant and for the geometric indexes compactness and robustness related to the form of action. In relation to the quality geometric establishing a new indicator to measure the regularity of the resulting configurations. The geometrical model for the treatment of space is unobtrusive and uses curves filling oscillatory (Space Filling Curves) with variable bandwidth to ensure continuity and contigà ¼ ity of activities which allows restrictions of continuity, not overlapping and occupation in the procedure for construction of solutions. It compares the performance of different algorithms proposed face different challenges test the literature and establishing metrics to assess the quality of the solutions.

Year: 2006. University: A CORUÑA [ www.udc.es]. Place of defense: Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura. Place of preparation: Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura.
Summary: This work is the result of an investigation conducted in Spain, the United Kingdom and Germany, and its main purpose is to answer the question  Is there a language of modern wood? For this purpose it was necessary to begin the process of studying the language researcher and constructive traditional structural material, placing it within a larger context so that relations with the creation architectural space. Subsequently, and within this framework, it may be determined whether technological innovations in the field of material and the manufacturing process possible or not a modern language. Over the work presents numerous case studies. IF either in the field of architecture with wood, the solutions are usually hybrid syntactic, have tried to illustrate numerous examples where it is relatively easy to identify a clear solution syntactic and at the same time, showing an intention of architectural space. Thus, the thesis is divided basically into four main parts or chapters. The first chapter examines the factors relevant for the expression of tectonic architecture, and the necessary conditions for the existence of a modern tectonics. The second chapter is the analysis of different types of syntactic within the traditional concept, in order to distinguish between tectonic traditional and modern tectonics. Within this framework emphasizes the creation of mechanisms specific to each type space syntax. Then, the third part of the work carried out by the study of the basic elements of modern tectonics. There will always be a tour of the different types of panels, studying various architectural forms to explain his contribution to the vocabulary of modern tectonics. The final chapter provides an analysis of the characteristics of language panels, namely the analysis of the characteristics of modern tectonics. This section concludes with the most significant contributions to creating architectural space by this language. |
