Summary: The safety and quality requirements own service in high-speed lines in a scene increasingly demanding when it comes to traffic volume and reliability of schedules, motivating the introduction of elements of analysis increasingly complex to ensure the proper maintenance of the road. In this context, the systematic application of auscultation, both dynamics (measurement of accelerations) and geometric (control leveling, alignment, peralte and gauge) is the basic element for planning corrective interventions on the road. In line with the Madrid AVE â Seville records auscultation dynamics (auscultation carried out every three weeks across the line) allow study in detail the process of deterioration of the road on ballast and the factors that affect this process. The experience of more than ten years of operation yields significant results, although characterized by high dispersion. Indeed, there is a clear influence on the speed of movement, dynamic loading and especially the volume of traffic, almost coinciding with the general point by theoretical studies and experimental findings. Apart from the above factors, it appears that the layout and the presence of the works at the factory, as well as embankments (characterized by its slenderness) impact on the deterioration of the road. Despite this wide range of variables, laws description of the requirements for maintenance suffer from a low reliability, as a result of the intervention of stochastic variables, such as the quality in the execution of works or meteorology. This is especially associated infrastructure, which stretches off may present problems of high deformation. The dimensioning of resources keeping track in a high-speed line has to take into account factors commented, in addition to the constraints of the site and the effectiveness of remedial work track. And, even more, the wisdom in the design will be affected to the extent that the infrastructure problems were fixed successively through interventions on the sidewalk of the road or, on the other hand, are addressed on a regular basis with targeted interventions sanitation improvement drainage, stabilization injections with mortar or other solutions that are required.

Summary: This thesis proposes a model optimization binivel for transport planning in the supply of large infrastructure projects located in congested urban areas, with the objective of minimizing its impacts on the environment and on urban users. To achieve this objective, and intends to solve a problem of minimizing the total cost of the system, or compound the operating costs of the various modes of trans carrying participants and the cost on the user product of increased congestion generated by the movement of lorries transport of the work. This optimization problem arises as a problem of mathematical programming type binivel. At the top level, defines the role of the total cost of the system should be minimized subject to environmental restrictions on air pollution and noise. At the lowest level is defined optimization problem that modeling behavior for system users, assuming you choose one path that minimizes the total cost of individual travel on the road network. Given the difficulties in solving this problem in relation to the uniqueness of the solution, a kind of heuristic algorithm for generating appropriate solutions. Both the model developed as a specific resolution algorithm applied case study of the works of the new port deportivo-pesquero Laredo, obtaining a series of findings over the corresponding sensitivity analysis.

Summary: The research in the field of reconstruction of the three-dimensional virtual scenarios, has been aimed at the generation and subsequent visualization scenarios higher or lower dimensions to conduct spatial analysis and simulations. These scenarios are made up, usually by simple geometry with little detailed textures able to present a vision of reality little conformist with the quality of the final scene. More specifically, when it comes to the reconstruction of virtual urban environments, over the last decade began to emerge projects to be registered in an international context characterized by the rapid growth of large urban models where the visual quality of the scenarios began to take some relevance. At this moment is presented as a challenge to reconcile a detailed visual quality, which allows the individual to complete immersion in the reality that emulates, with the allocation of relevant information that provides unique environment. This is the goal to which are aimed its sights from today known as geographic information systems 3D. This thesis presents a methodology capable of generating virtual urban environments, designed to compile databases and visually correlated intended to be used primarily in driving simulators. The methodology proposed a strategy based generation in building a model geoprocesamiento able to provide the basis for a geographic information system. So, in the latter, they can relate both the spatial dimension as descriptive attributes of the data, and not just serve as information developed with which to generate visual databases, but as the core of analysis for other disciplines. These databases are made up of visual a lot and three-dimensional geometry, rely heavily on real-time behavior of the hierarchical structure is made of the models members of the scene. Therefore, the thesis proposes methods and optimization techniques from the organization's hierarchical graph scene as well as the attributes of the generated geometries. Finally, it raises target what is the degree of severity that can be reached with this optimization because this heavily conditioned by both subjective criteria attributed to the view of modeling and techniques related to the simplification of geometries, such models multirresolución. As a contribution to solving this problem, the thesis develops a methodology original optimization based on the perception that the scenario is the user of the virtual simulator. In other words, identify those factors involved in both the design stage and in the conditions of the simulation. The combination of these factors make it possible to capture the nature of the urban environment and highlight the signs more representative, which later will allow you to make a judgment and qualitatively evaluate the scenario simulated. This methodology is validated experimentally by means of statistical techniques, and more specifically through the use of design experiments. Through this technique are selected factors affecting the modeling delas geometries and are statistically significant in the quality and the degree of realism perceived by the user. The primary advantage of this contribution is selective allocation of the necessary resources in the shape of the geometries scenario, thus allowing a reduction in costs and development times process reconst. 8 rucción 27f 3D.

Place of preparation: E.T.S. DE NAUTICA, MAQUINAS Y RADIOELECTRONICA NAVAL.
Summary: The Doctoral Thesis made and defended by the honoree, by the development and content, is of interest to the maritime sector from different angles, such as scientific, technical, labor and legal port. In chapter of results, presented a comprehensive report of port activities at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which is related to occupational hazards and their prevention, which can serve as a model to other Spanish ports. Over the thesis, explained why they took as a model for this port. The structure of the thesis, dovetails with the standards required in this type of work. Stress also provided photographic material. In chapter conclusions, detailing not only the reasons for these occupational hazards, but also preventive measures to be carried out in the operation of stevedoring and desestiba.
