Summary: Doctoral Thesis This is part of a collaboration between the National University of Distance Education and the University of Cadiz. In this paper we study in dry machining of two aluminum alloys for use preferential industry aeroespecial. The alloy Al-Cu (AA2024) and Al-Zn (AA7050). The measurements on machined parts allow for the establishment of relations of parametric variables related to the topography superficila, in a broad sense, contemplándose aspects macro and microgeométricos of them. Relations aspects macrogeométricos sets up from diversions of righteousness, parallelism, roundness and radial oscillation. Relations aspects microgeométmricos sets from the roughness parameters such as more widespread: the arithmetic average deviation of the profile roughness (Ra) and the maximum height profile roughness (Rz). It is also studying the establishment of parametric models for other variables involved in the process, as the strength of court.
