Summary: For Everyone knows the importance and need for innovation in the Spanish textile business fabric, both as technological processes or markets, in order to cope with a complex situation that presented in the industry today. In this thesis we have implemented a technology-based innovation to meet market needs. Technological innovation is based on the application of the technique of cutting and merging via ultrasound on tissues juxtaposed point for warp, with widths between 1400-2000 mm, in order to obtain two-dimensional structures similar to threads with titles from 250 until 1250 tex. Threads obtained through tissue basis, have been analyzed in detail by the current regulations to ensure the validation of the same, not to present problems in subsequent knitting. The thread obtained by cutting and merger presents distinctive characteristics of conventional wires, depending on the structure and fabric finishing basis to be cut, getting excellent texture with threads, yarns with different heights hair, printed threads, yarns bulky, etc.. And even if part of tissues microencapsulados can obtain threads aromatic thermoregulatory, moisturizing, etc.. The procedure for ultrasonic cutting tissue has been submitted to the Patent and Trademark Office of Spain (March 2003) with the purpose of protecting the invention. It is currently preparing a report to patent a product that carries out the procedure.
