Summary: The thesis examines the current state of corporate Spanish at the university, noting that the proceedings are being carried out from higher education institutions in the field of communication and image: if there are prior audits image, whether they have developed communication plans, if its governing visual identity, whether they realized their public proceedings to determine some effective and tailored to the needs of the sectors involved, and if they have rules of communication. Among the tools of development of corporate communications, also confirm whether universities have media themselves with those who consolidate their information channels and have another way to rehabilitate his image internally and externally. In this case, we analyze the basic characteristic features of newspapers, radios and televisions university. We note the existence of the professional bodies that manage the communication and image in universities and its possible consolidation, through the powers conferred on them, their structure and organization, organizational unit and its strength in human and economic resources.

Summary: Relations between the politico-military and the media have changed at the same speed at which, during the twentieth century, evolved techniques and informative coverage. The censorship began in the War of the United States (1861-1865), but then the circle of control is opened from the Hispano-American War in Cuba and Puerto Rico (1895-1898), until the Gulf War ( 1991) and the terrorist attacks of 11S (2001). Summary: The modern organizations are conditioned by a double juncture that determines their development. On the one hand, the growing importance of the human factor and, on the other hand, the progressive expansion of the Information Technology and Communications (ICT) are changing the structure and culture of all kinds of enterprises and institutions, giving rise to the it has been termed as' network organization. In this new type of organizations is logical that corresponds to a new type of internal communication. Indeed, the assumption that this part doctoral research is that ICT represent a substantial change in the way of understanding the internal communication in organizations, both for its direct influence on the management on the corporate culture and external communication of them, as the failure to establish themselves in new channels for connection with the public and among inmates. From there, the thesis presents a model for the management of the new internal communication that takes as its centerpiece the corporate portals, which arise as the major repositories of those who are defined as the three major contents to be reported internal communication : operational information, information and information ad intra ad extra. This management model of the new internal communication is confronted with the experience in this area of the seven universities of the Valencia through an in-depth analysis of the prácitca daily in each of the centers studied. The choice of this field of study is justified by the advanced state of the universities in the incorporation of ICT, as well as the high technological culture of its members, which makes them an ideal laboratory for research into the interior of this new internal communication. Based on a qualitative and quantitative research on the practice of internal communication at the seven universities Valencia, posing a radiography sector at the time of the investigation and reviewed the management model proposed. Finally, the conclusions of the theoretical and empirical research has been subjected to a process of confrontation with a panel of experts in communication college, which has allowed us to achieve a validated model posed how to integrate new media in the management of internal communication based mainly on the adaptation of the principles of the structure of corporate information systems. It also raises a key core of this model the ability of franchising management domestic content through XML technology and the incorporation of external content through its syndication. Lastly, the whole model is based on segmentation of audiences and customization of the contents, the latter an option that will mark future trends of internal communication.
