Summary: The dissertation was performed using a primary objective: the design of a web application model corporate university. This specific categories that were established under quality parameters served as a reference for the analysis of institutional products available today. The investigation began in 2002 with a perception of the investigator: faculties who teach communication is not usually have an effective policy for institutional communication on several fronts, or in worst case, lack thereof. This perception was repeated on websites institutional races, studies or powers of communication are already known and visited, that far from being too technical university of professional products. Between March 2002 and 2004, search of data and observation sites of communication studies in Latin America, and the subsequent selection of the same in 64, 31, 10 and 4 products as quality parameters previously established. The theoretical and practical construction of a model that works as the true starting point for application development sites institutional university is the main outcome of this investigation. Research findings reinforce the design of the model itself, based on a perception of how well-finished public address and consume the product. Moreover, as a spiral of knowledge, the final model as the conclusions on consumption will be useful as background for future research and communication projects institutional university.
