Summary: The investigation, apartir a systemic approach, aims to study the ASEM (Asia-Europe Meetings) focusing on the analysis of a scale hitherto absent in the existing literature about the process: its nature. To that end, we analyze the structure of the process, its evolution and changes and continuities in the contents of its agenda as well as the extent to which the imprint of the two regional groups within the EU - ASEM and ASEAN-and Evolution the international context has conditioned the evolution of the process and helped to shape their nature. Depending on It also points the role ASEM in the international context as well as emerging potential as mechanisms of global governance.

Summary: The dissertation focuses on the study of international crises as a politico-military events, and developments before and after the end of the Cold War, as well as in the analysis of crisis management as a specific form of action before making decisions this type of situation. Here is charged with examining the requirements of military instruments for crisis management after the Cold War and especially the use of force or deployment of rapid reaction in these functions, evaluating the development and adaptation of the different models of domestic and international these missions. The research part of the clarification and definition of the concept of international crisis, it lies in the conflict as one of its pre-war, which should not be confused-examines the definitions of literature and proposes other responding to the stock of the new international context. ADAPTIVE EDUCATION: A PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVING THE EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS IN MATHEMATICS IN SECONDARY EDUCATION COMPULSORY.Author: ARTEAGA MARTÍNEZ BLANCA PAZ. Year: 2006. Summary: This thesis part of the Adaptive Education assumptions and values if the mathematics achievement of students in secondary improvement after adjusting procedures educational used to the characteristics of the students. The proposal includes the diagnosis of distinctive characteristics of the students, a teacher training program and the design of specific materials following the recommendations adaptive. The research design, pre-postest, has focused on pupils 2 nd and 4 th of SCS, selected 5 centers in the province of Cuenca. The final sample included 8 groups of 2 º ESO (a total of 193 students) and 8 groups of 4 fourth (181 students). After the implementation of the adaptive methodology, the data have been analyzed using techniques of variance, regression, non - parametric, demonstrating that; skills math is a construct consisting of component cognitivo-educativos, attitudinal and procedural; strategies and materials designed to improve the performance of math students of 4 grade of SCS but not the 2 grade SCS, there have been no changes in the attitude towards mathematics of any group of students, and lastly, that the use of adaptive strategies is possible in a comprehensive and with the resources that usually has school, provided there is a team the cooperative, flexible, formed in adaptive strategies and coordinated from the principles of adaptive intervention.
