    Summary: Taking as a starting point the contribution made by H. Lefebvre on the production of social space, the author examines the process by which indigenous autonomy, a new space of representation, became Mexico and more specifically in chiapas, the frame of reference of collective indigenous movement after the Zapatista uprising of 1994. The thesis shows what were the conditions of possibility for the general and specific to the thinking and practice materials indigenous autonomy achieved an important political legitimacy, with two main effects on the one hand, a decisive part in the construction of identity indigenous policy, and secondly, the question of territoriality state.

    Summary: This paper analyzes the political, strategic and ideological of the Frente Farabundo Marti para la Liberacion Nacional (FMLN) from its founding in 1980 until its conversion into a political party in 1992. It was part of the consideration that the strategic choices of the revolutionary movement Salvadoran contingent were the result of a series of interactions within the movement itself, and between it and its political environment. The aim is to demonstrate that, during the civil war in El Salvador (1980-1992), the FMLN was forced to articulate their organizational purposes, given the impossibility of achieving their primary objectives, the practice of armed struggle for the realization of the socialist revolution, however, throughout this process, the organization did not explicitly renounced their objectives, but that subordinated, keeping rhetorically in his address, in order to maintain the commitment of its supporters. The investigation deepens in the explanation of the process of articulation, identified as factors responsible for certain elements of the same political environment. The liberalization of the regime, the increase in the Salvadoran army's military potential, as a result of the U.S. aid, the reforms implemented for the administration of Napoleon Duarte and the change in the availability of the coalition allies revolutionary. In addition, attention is focused on the internal processes by experimental military political organizations that composed the FMLN.Dichos processes evolving organizational changes in the profile of militancy and in the leadership of these organizations were more permeable and politically more flexible before changes in the political environment that took place in the country over the eighties. They became therefore facilitators in the evolution of strategic, political and ideological experienced by the insurgency, and allowed approached this negotiation with the Salvadoran government, as the only possible way to resolve the conflict.
  • PARTNERSHIP AND SOCIAL STRUCTURE IN THE CANARIES. THE CASE OF ASOCIACIÓNISMO NEIGHBORHOOD IN SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE

    Summary: This thesis deals with the study of voluntary associations, social movements, and neighborhood associations and urban social movements in Spain. Data analysis includes seven parts: first, an approximation to reality canary and the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the nineties, with particular reference to the social structure, and economic development urban, secondly, we study the aosciaciones neighborhood from various viewpoints such as the origin of the same, the leadership, conflict, the activities and functions, as well as the associative network and the network of neighborhood movement in third instead, it examines the claims, demands and concerns of the neighborhoods, which allows further on the concepts of quality of life, environment and citizenship; fourth, discusses public safety as a priority demand of neighborhood associations in the municipality ; fifth, explores the relationships with these entities engage in public institutions and political parties; in sixth place, it presents a case study of one of the districts of the municipality affected by the characterization of Rural Park, and seventh and last, the case study on Grande Ravine, through which he examines the role of neighborhood associations in the processes of social change.
