These are the questions that it intends to meet this work. There are three main concepts can be drawn from the body of theoretical MacIntyre: flowering (or person narrative), community and tradition (or rationality narrative). Following a presentation of the genesis of individualism and the individual author's trajectory, the thesis discusses each of these concepts to conclude that, even if there are theoretical points that improve and complete the system macintyreano, such a system offers a solid alternative to individualism.
