Summary: Â How is it possible for the alleged murder of ethics in our culture has been perpetrated by a moralist? A superficial glance at his work and enlarges the reluctance, but this is not the time to list them, perhaps if smithiana say that the work is far from automatic caricaturales that it has been disclosed. It is a complex work to which he is part of the idea system. Knowledge of the theory of moral sentiments as well as the rest of his writings silenced, far from being an exercise in scholarship, is the necessary condition pra just an understanding of his work economically. My research, but focused on Adam Smith comprises three objectives that somehow what surpass. The first is character and theoretical concerns the epistemological status of the economy. Summary: This Doctoral Thesis explores the social responsibility of companies, especially credit unions. The choice of thematic response to the development among other considerations that the phenomenon of Social Responsibility has experienced a significant resurgence in the last decade of the twentieth century and the early years of the twenty-first century. It outlines different definitions of that concept and are publicized various models emerged to gather information about the performance of companies in the field of social and environmental matters, developed over the years to facilitate the development business organizations both Memories of Sustainability and Social Balances. Based on an analysis of the current status of Social Responsibility and focusing on the institutions located within the Social Economy such as credit unions, particularly when it comes to the envelopes and applications for the Fund for Education and Promotion, Researchers projected objective look at whether the fund is a valid indicator for the evaluation of socially responsible behavior of these entities. For achieving the objective pursued based on the assumptions set forth above, perform a detailed study of the institution itself for Education and Promotion to delimit the same destinations, taking as reference groups obtained using appropriate statistical methodology, as is cluster analysis, and interpreting the results concerning the fate of the Fund in the study according to these groups. The thesis concludes that, without additional ignore other potential indicators, the Education Trust and promotion may reflect the actions of credit unions in the social and environmental fields, behaving as an adequate indicator for achieving the objective.

Summary: The thesis aims to philosophical reasoning and analysis from the economic theory of the concept of human development as proposed by Amartya Sen to be used as guidelines and responsible basis of the various proposals and theoretical activity of development cooperation performed by different agencies and solidarity groups in the context of globalization. Over the thesis there is a context of the theory of development in the field of applied ethics in the matter of development economics, critically reviewed the major paradigms of development as economic growth. The social model of development paradigm articulated around the satisfaction of the basic needs of Streeten is also analyzed. From an ethical transformation of the economic rationality, as proposed by Sen, lays the foundations of the capabilities approach as an alternative not only to the model Streeten but also that of primary goods Rawls, and finally to utilitarianism. Finally, he examines in detail the model of human development consisting of an expansion of the real freedoms enjoyed by individuals. This model is structured around three points. The prospect of real freedom (liberty and freedoms so as instrumental), the focus of the capabilities and model person. The philosophical foundation that will be provided on the Kantian theory is a foundation of skills. The analysis from the economic theory of social choice is also revised in regard to the possible merits of the democratic model opening up to the ethical discourse. And finally, it proposes the concept of autonomy as a substitute for the agency seniana. In conclusion, the theory of human development by Amartya Sen, revised and philosophically grounded perspective neokantiana is regarded as the development model more ethical and financially responsible for a global world.
