Summary: The thesis discusses the properties of optical absorption and luminescence of thin silica coatings prepared by the sol-gel method and sensitive to organic molecules. A total utilian as doping nine organic molecules: acid rosólico red neutral tornasol, quinine, fluorescein, Erythrosine B eosin Y and the profirinas TMP yPy TTMAPP. Some of these organic molecules are used as dyes due to its strong absroción optics in the area visible.En dissolution, all have changes in their absorption spectrum, and some also for luminiscencis, when you change the pH of medio.Por that reason some of these doping are used as visual indicators of pH valuations ácido-base.Los coatings doped with these organic molecules have similar characteristics to those with molecules in solution, so before you make the analysis of each coating is carrying out a study of the absorption and luminescence of the molecule in disolución.Posteriormente, analyzes the optical properties of the coatings doped face distintsa tests are sensitive to pH, using as a reference the properties of molecules in solution and the preliminary work of the bibliografía.También evaluates law de Lambert-Beer in coatings and also discussed the possibility of applying them as reusable sensors pH, as some of them presented properties well suited for that fin.El study is completed a comparative analysis of various coatings doped, exposing the conclusions in the final chapter.
