Summary: At work presentedinthe this report have been analyzed experimental methodologies based on learning by action-oriented student's active work to encourage their participation, creativity and teamwork, while promoting stable and lasting learning. These practical work undertaken within the Solid Mechanics, integrate theory, challenges, experiences and laboratory use computers, and should be understood as real research work. There has been a pilot for cantilever beam in the case of linear elastic behavior, given the same weight and a concentrated load acting on the free end. Subsequently is studied experimentally and theoretically non lenealidad geometric (large movements) and linear elastic behavior of the material considering only the timely loading acting on the free end. Here is the complete previous case with the consideration of the weight itself, which gives a numerical analysis and experimental. Finally the study is done in the case of a material that is, numerical and experimental. Here is an approximation using the method of harmonic balance. Finally is the study of buckling of the bar under the combined action of a burden, ie considering the weight itself. The study analyzes cable two cases: the first for threads subjected to a system of concentrated loads, and secondly, under the action solely on its own weight. Both studies the curve funicular that takes the cable due to the action of the applied loads, the value of the tension in the same reactions and at the points of fixing. This study was carried out on an experimental, graphic and analytical.
