Summary: The work deals with the local development, discussing the role of education in development projects in indigenous communities. It focuses on the people TERENA the State of Mato Grosso do Sul and sample the indigenous community TERENA of Córrego de Meio, Municipality of Sidrolándia. Part of an analysis of the concepts and relationships of development, questioning the way in which projects are still in the area, worried about the production and not by the people, especially when it comes to development plans aimed at indigenous people. The current conception of development focuses on the human being, in the search for a better quality of life, and from that perspective, the development involves the formation and education dela own community in the field of culture, skills, competencies and skills that enable them to herself, obviously with the help of agents and external factors, agenciar and directing the process of homogenization, which recently introducing a new facet and is directed toward recognition of a plural society. In this trend, the school, and through it, school education, can be transformed into an area of border, making connections between different worlds and cultures is, a promoter of intercultural respect, self-reliance and development. This is the time lived by the investigation when the results point to a rising level of awareness among teachers, parents and students, in short, community TERENA on the importance of education as an instrument for the promotion of intercultural dialogue, so necessary local development. Summary: This thesis analyzes the local development process from business strategy for the tourism sector, and for this, addresses two main approaches. The first of these is the attempt to define a frame of reference for understanding the process of local development, articulating the vision of business organization, based on concepts of cooperation, the development of sustainable tourism, which is the local center . Finally, it seeks to diagnose the competitive dynamics of the various companies in the tourism sector, to analyze the implications of the results with the local development process. The research, developed with primary and secondary sources, indicates that both studies, in the surveyed areas of Mato Grosso do SUL, competitive performance gaps, which would recommend the formulation of local development policies with a view to encourage businesses to overcome obstacles identified.

Summary: Research work on the indigenous population in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul and public policies on indigenous in Brazil. We have analyzed the effects of the capitalist process and technology standards of living and culture of indigenous communities, especially the culture clash and survival strategies. Include specific analysis on the migration from villages to cities (urban villages) and the incorporation of women to work, using methodologies and techniques of human geography at the theoretical framework of local development. The results and conclusions are applicable for sustainable development and survival of community processes and the social and cultural identity of the indigenous people, in harmony with the environment and with strategies for overcoming the conditions and difficulties encountered in the urban environment.

Summary: Proposed unprograma integral to the rehabilitation and renovation of the historic center of Pinar del Rio, in order to facilitate the rescue of the aesthetic, architectural and socio-resuscitation services, the enhancement of lainfraestructura urban, improved image urban and environment of the city, favoring development delso green spaces, l contribution to the increase of stay of tourists in Pinar del Rio and economic development more equlibrado. It consists of the development of a multifunctional top of the main buildings, streets and spaces to be preserved and promoted in a bid to be part of the renovation of the historical center, likewise, the proposal of a promotional program integrald the historic center , which since budgets made tribura cultural development of the territory and the quality of life of its inhabitants.

Summary: The investigation shows that vegetation is one of the factors that affected negatively affects the landscape of the Cuban cities. It illustrates real problems and raises socluciones for seeking more balanced environments with less drastic Nature, based on the theories of sustainable development and good practices ecourbanismo. The investigation seeks to serve those interested a basis científico-teórica, focusing ecológico-paisajístico updated, which facilitates the work of landscape design associated with urban development.
