One is the artistic production and the other is the process autoreflexivo. This latest record through the notebooks and correspondence. The special circumstances through the notebooks and correspondence. The special circumstances surrounding contextual both respects, are marked by an individual internal exile, which lays a production whose main unifying theme, but not the only one, is the breakout. The period of the pattern of life and professional object of analysis, the most emotional strain for the artist and his family, marked by significant nuances, but also by continuities. Miro, immersed in the strictest anonymity, was able to overcome the oppression of a hostile environment due to a severe self-discipline in the workplace, a recapitulation on the same artistic language and a process of self-reflection unpublished writing. As regards to the production, we highlighted with a special meaning two rounds: Constellations (1940-41) and Sèrie Barcelona (1941-1944). The work done during this period is one of the most interesting examples of the characteristics evasive, absurd or touched by his special humor grotesto, is a counterweight to the heavy atmosphere that surrounds it. This is a work marked by nature, music and poetry, in which the dimension espritual, which has always been important in his career, achieves a deeper significance.
