Summary: The Doctoral Thesis magazine Myth in the transit of literary modernity to postmodernity in Colombia, is a rereading of the modernization process of Colombian literature. As considers most of the literary criticism, the emergence of the journal Myth (1955-1962) the mid-twentieth century crystallizes this process in the country. In this regard, Myth has been established as a border between old and new in the evolution of the letters in Colombia. The emergence of Myth - making, thus giving it a turn "adamítico" and becomes a new product, which may be explained by the genius and modernity of their managers and not by the dynamic and centenarian who has been in the process of modernizing the country literary and social. And it is in such a distortion of the legacy of the publication where the problems arise that are to understand the plural meaning. Identifying critical of their contributions and limitations as a tool for renewal has been replaced by a fragmented, piecemeal exaltation of their achievements. The fact that it has been erected on the border that separates the anachronistic and contemporary literature that suggests that moves have been completed to set up "a myth of the journal Myth": a kind of fetish which owe taxes and no analysis and discussion. The "mythology" of the publication, carries, likewise, a glorification of the writers who made it possible. They are considered <<genios>> those who promoted the project and puts them above the creators who preceded them in the order that the country and its literature speak the language of the contemporary world. In this context, research proposes a new reading of the magazine in which it is not regarded as the solitary company of a group of poets and intellectuals enlightened, but primarily as a genuine product of its time and the realization a process of evolution of the Colombian literature, which goes to the early days of what has been called "the new postmodern condition." It tries to prove, then, that Myth is a cultural one hand, riding on a "tradition" of modernity, aupada works and authors who contributed to the momentum renovator is not stopped, and even suffered at the same time in obvious anachronisms, and who, on the other hand, reflect the first signs of progress of culture and postmodern literature.

And this course defined literary aesthetic, because despite defend that durèes of periods literary speeches are not rigid rules which underlie canonical aesthetic, but living unfolding process, creating a literary canon in permanent constitution and continuously shifting, one of mechanisms generative core of every culture, as pointed Lotman and Uspenski, is the inherent requirement that has to be renewed even assuming the same appearance, but also to organize in early unit to be self-consciousness, and that the literature is provided through the works, magazines, anthologies and literary stories. In that sense, in the case of Novecentismo, I will defend a fee as a polissitema cultural and literary aesthetic that encompassed multiple processes simultaneously lived, as the last years of modernism nonspecific still circulating in Spanish literature until 1918, the year precisely when one of the first skirmishes of the vanguard, ultraísmo, irrumpía with great strength and would eradicate: the return to the Spanish literary tradition, largely due to the work of philological Menendez Pidal, the development of regional literature , which since the last decade of the nineteenth century, had become a literary model in any way negligible and in some regions was the fuse for ideological development of nationalism, and a renewal of epistemological letters desgranó literature more reflexive to delve into a new aesthetic education. Too many literary aesthetic trends which are explained in any way under the literary period of Novencentismo born in the heat of the "Generation of 1914", who conceived his visit in the letters Spanish as a place capable of nest different aesthetic purposes since 1907, the year in which the latter two magazines modernist, Renunciamiento and The New Mercury, they realized that modernism was already an aesthetic capable of being historiada, and when they founded the Board for Expansion of Studies and Scientific Research (JAE), a state agency which created to modernize the scientific studies and humanities at the common European style and to reconcile a country with its own tradition until 1925, the year where treaties like the European avant-garde literature, Guillermo Torre, the dehumanization of art and Ideas on the novel, Ortega y Gasset, a crystallized consciousness, in historical perspective, and the vanguards of the new epistemology artística-literaria Spanish.

However, this decadent atmosphere provides a large hatch in the field of art, that are part of the brilliant work of the Spanish authors, as Calderon. In addition, d observation of this unique situation in the arts, discusses the manifestations of musical theater that arise from the beginning of the century. We have set in sinterinfluencias of the major currents of thought in the late nineteenth century (Idealism, Positivism, Pragmatism and Espiritualismo), and their translation and development in the novel Restoration Spanish, with special emphasis on aspects that affect the formulation of the theories that inspired love. We have conducted a study that contrastive departed from the metaphysical platonic, to continue its evolution over the great works of literature on the topic, basically, loving, and that led to a comparative study (rooted in Anglo-Saxon) with the Spanish novel of the last third of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century, which we addressed as well, the reflection on the projection crítico-literaria these ideological, heavily "polluted" by the positivist philosophy inherent to the Spanish Realism and Naturalism the time. We approached the study of "Espiritualismo" author emblematic of the novel Restoration (Perez Galdos, Pardo Bazán, Juan Valera ..), which have basically been analyzed from the tenets of Realism and Naturalism, and so reverse, we explained the amendments made by these currents, clear trend positivist, the romantic Idealism (a neoplatónico) and the Realism distorted, own the Spanish literary tradition precedent. In line with this, we reflect on the following points: 1 - The confluences and differences between Anglo-Saxon literature of the time and culture of the Restoration, taking into account the peculiarities of the realistic and naturalistic movements in Spain and translating and development late and persistent doctrine idealistic German. 2-Investment, distortion, criticism or parody of topical amorous classics. 3-Housing and loving experience as a reflection of morality in society of the time. 4 - The conflictual relations between intellectual knowledge and love exist, and the disastrous consequences that lead to the characters involved in these novels.
