    Summary: This research enables establish and offer to the scientific community, a method of analysis to study the lists of subject headings, whose implementation is illustrated here in the specific field of Sciences of Religions, but pued3e be used in every subject area . It has done a job of synthesizing and comparison of the terms preferred by those responsible for the preparation of indexes subject of libraries tested (Spanish National Library, Library Net CSIC, libraries at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Libraries the Community of Madrid and the State Public Libraries). Subsequently, has analyzed the existing terms on various religions (Buddhism, Shamanism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto, sijismo, taosímo and Zoroastrianism). In some cases, those terms have been replaced and others have expanded existing ones to lead, as well, to a listing as consistent as possible subject headings where all religions are treated in a neutral analyzed.

    Summary: This paper investigates the theoretical aspects of hypertext terms documentary enmarcándolo in a broader context and with reference to the technological and cultural factors have made this possible.
