Summary: Over the past 25 years there has been a growing business contact between the Chinese and the Western world, which has led to an increasingly important flow of Western products have entered the Chinese market. Naturally, this has had a major impact on the translation in general and in the translation of the trademarks of these products, either by their enormous complexity and commercial interest as by the lack of academic studies on the matter. The motivations that justify this research are the following four: First the gap on this issue in Spain, in particular, the lack d a study from a perspective lingüstica and socio-cultural translation of trademarks to the Chinese. While in places like Hong Kong or the United States such studies have been conducted by consultants who advise Western companies to enter the Chinese market and thus are aware of the importance of the image of the commercial products the Chinese market, in Spain, on the other hand, at the time of conducting this investigation there was a big gap in this regard, and given the increasing business contacts between Spain and China, it is imperative that the business community had this problem in Spanish and its significance. Second, the research was aimed at highlighting the importance of the role of translator, which has been regarded as a cultural mediator. While translation in general intercultural aspects are very important, it is felt that the translation of the Chinese brands this aspect is even more important because this language condenses a lot of information and cultural lingüstica very few characters or words. Therefore it has been deemed it necessary that the translator specializing in the translation of trademarks possesses a number of special conditions, such as knowledge of both cultures in terms of language, as well as aesthetics, literature, sociology, psychology sales , advertising, marketing, etc.. Thirdly, the research was aimed at deepening the analysis of the relationship between literature and language advertising in Chinese. Fourthly research also sought to deepen the existence of two different contexts for the translation of trademarks to the Chinese, on the one hand the Taiwanese market and on the other hand the mainland, which is added in some cases the case of Hong Kong, a very influential in the previous two. The investigation was conducted from a sample of 500 trademarks in international shopping malls, department stores and professional journals. It has consulted businesses and advertising agencies to gather information and documentation on the methods of translation employees. The information collected has been analyzed from the viewpoint of cultural values in them and eventually has compared the differences between the translations made in Taiwan and mainland China. The thesis is divided into 10 chapters, grouped in 5 blocks. At first, referred to the general aspects and cultural theory of translation. The second section deals with methods and strategies for the translation of trademarks. The third section is devoted to the study of statistical data. In the fourth block, which coincides with the eighth chapter, compares the different translations used in Taiwan and mainland China, and in the fifth and final block is performed qualitative analysis of the information collected. Because after several years of business contacts with the Chinese market, it is becoming increasingly attractive to foreign products, the translation of trademarks is gaining great importance. Therefore valued that this investigation not only can have a practical application the field of translation, but also in the marketing and 8 the publ 2d3 icidad. Summary: Research on translation errors is now one of the most important challenges of the Didactics Translation, since its main purpose is to understand the mental processes that underlie the 'black box' of the students, establishing a methodology for understanding these processes and to evaluate their strategies for optimal translation in the classroom. This thesis first describe the different methodological proposals made by some of the most relevant traductólogos and didactas with respect to the classification of errors of language and translation. These contributions indicate that a prescriptive approach in the evaluation of errors is inadequate and that it will be necessary to consider other factors pragmatic type, communicative and cognitive for an optimal classification. In addition to highlighting the importance of analysis of the original text as well as the exhaustive search of parallel texts exerted positive influence on the production target of the text, emphasis will be placed on the mental processes at the time to translate a specialized legal text. Summary: A summary of the history of the Bible in English suggests that in the last 50 years there has been a radical change in the prevailing paradigm of biblical translation. The septuaginta, the vulgate, the King James Version of 1611 and even several revisions of the King James Version in the nineteenth century and twentieth apparently share some theoretical principles very similar. However, starting with the theoretical work of Eugene A. Nida in the 60's, the so-called functional or dynamic equivalence has been sutituyendo what Nida called the traditional formal equivalence. This change has resulted in theoretical notable differences in the major translations of the latter half of the twentieth century. At present, there is a perpetual disputed by the proponents of each trend on the advantages or disadvantages of the respective types of translation. Therefore, many of the comparisons of the biblical translations looking check the superiority of one type or another translation. Many of these studies are committed to choose their specific body, focusing mainly on the type of material which will check the superioridd a kind of translation over another. This study, by contrast, seeks to explore more genetic differences and objective methodology behind the main biblical translations into English while describes and defines the significant features of the same. The study was conducted with ten major translations of the Bible in English, five of which are modern and the other five traditional. The passages estudados claim to be representing the biblical corpus, gathering a wide range of authors, literary genres and styles of speech. Each passage has ordendo of vertically, parallel to the original text, to identify and analyze the treatment of each word in the original, picking up the additions, deletions and changes that each translation provides. Then, the additions, deletions and changes individual will be compardos and analyzed in greater detail to identify common trends among the translations in each family. Data from this comparative analysis resulting in some general conclusions about the treatment of the shape of the original, especially in order to describe what are the main characteristics that distinguish modern translations of the Bible from traditions.
