  • ASPECTS OF THE SEMANTICS OF ADVERBS SO IN SPANISH

Summary: The study of the meaning that modifiers are traditionally grouped under the broad umbrella of adverbs so has been the subject of recurring interest to the lingüstica modern. This thesis becomes again on the subject to propose an analysis that comes to explain the various uses that can have an adverb-both in their readings of how the oracionales- based on the semantic properties that each piece lexical. To this end, discusses 7 subclasses of different adverbs: adverbs emotive (surprisingly, unfortunately), the evaluation of the performance of the agent (cunningly, skillfully), the willingness of (intentionally, unintentionally), limiting the value of truth ( allegedly, supposedly), reinforce the value of truth (that is, unquestionably) and adverbs oriented enunciation of the issuer (frankly, sincerely) or the code (briefly, literally). In each of these groups modifiers you select a set of units representative of the whole, so that the object of study is specific in 84 adverbs in mente; for characterization, combines systematic search of a corpus lingüstico Spanish ( the CREA, which draws 60 occurrences for each unit studied) with data from their own introspection and with the comments that emerged from the literature. The study is being carried out from these units particular impact in the semantic aspects. With him, they are looking to show two scenarios. The first is that the conduct which has an adverbial modifier is a consequence of its meaning. In other words, the portfolio of readings potentially presents a given unit derives from the semantic properties that owns this lexical item, this implies that must necessarily share these semantic properties with the other adverbs that have a similar behavior. The second is that the semantic properties that have an adverb in mind legacy of the semantic properties of the adjective from which it has been formed, then this implies that will ultimately semantic properties of the basic adjective that restrict uses that can have the adverb that it is formed. The main aim of the thesis, therefore, is to find a series of semantic features common to the adjectives that adverbs are formed for each of the classes that are considered unique in that class and allowing the use that will predict the adverbs. The conclusions from the study have an interest in hand descriptive and theoretical. In terms of narrative, there are two main conclusions reached. On the one hand, it is refined previous descriptions for the Spanish can be found in case studies in grammar, based in most cases on generalizations drawn from the behavior observed in the prototype units of each subclass. The characterization done here allows qualify these descriptions, so as to more clearly delineate the boundaries that divide the various groups of Spanish adverbiales modifiers. On the other hand, leads to establish, for each group of adverbs analyzed, a set of semantic features that are common to all members who compose and not shared by other modifiers Spanish who do not belong to these groups. In this sense, the main novelty is that recognize and describe these traits not only on adverbs in mente but adjectives base from which have been formed. From a theoretical point of view, this document elaborates on the analysis of the link which provides 8 between Buddha 4b1 rmas adjective forms and adverbiales. Specifically, it examines the legacy by modifiers adverbiales the structure of his argument adjectives base, and how this affects the structure of argument adverbial use. According advocate, the main data of the behavior of adverbs in mente of Spanish can be explained by addressing the constraints they impose on the arguments they select, in a structure of argument that inherit from their bases adjective.

Summary: The work is a proposal for the construction of a theory of meaning or, more specifically, a contribution to a theory of the operations involved in the formation of the above, taking as the theoretical foundation Theory Enunciativa Language and Languages, proposal by A. Culioli (1990-1999). It examines the variation syntactic and semantic (cf. polysemy), the interaction of the unit with the context, the latitudes of equivalence (cf. synonymy) from different units: "só", "just", "bad" and others . The purpose is the definition of identity (uniqueness) and the mechanisms of variation of a class of "markers" (ie marks cognitive operations) belonging to different categories lingüsticas and grammar. For characterization (description and explanation) of the properties and performances (other than jobs and values) of these units morfo-lexicales is uitiliza a constructivist approach and a metalanguage basic topological. We formalize not only notional values, temporary aspectuales, manners and discursive of markers but also levels intra, inter and transpredicativo their participation in the construction of the meaning of statements and texts. The work has enabled us to constrastar equivalencies between different languages (Roman, English and German) and to propose the epistemological and methodological principles of semantics enunciative (discursive) capable of being applied to other problems and other empirical "observable": adverbs , prepositions, conjunctions, expressions, connectors and markers of speech.

Summary: The dissertation Towards a theory of cognitive availability lexical: the lexicon of available students Castilians aims to help Central since an interdisciplinary approach (and novel) to establish the theoretical foundations of available lexicon, referring to the fact the production of this lexicon is a complex cognitive task that involves various psychological elements beyond the purely lingüsticos. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first deals with the description of the characteristics of the production of the lexicon available from a perspective psicolingüstica: the type of generating activity of the lexicon; properties, intrinsic and inherent, so that the words are more or less available, and finally, the importance Formal or semantic component in the production of listings of terms. Each piece includes an experiment psicolingüstico relation to the central issues of each question. The second part deals with the study of available lexicon particular has worked as a corpus reference to the first section of the investigation: the lexicon of available Castilla-La Mancha. It describes the characteristics of the study area, as well as the selected sample (680 students, 34 schools and 17 centers of interest). It also details the methodological procedures for the collection of materials and their standardization. Here is a quantitative analysis of the general data and a study sociolingüstico according to various social variables in place (sex, ownership of the center, residence of parents, sociocultural and province level). • BUILDING CONDITIONAL CONCESIVAS IN SPANISH. THE CONDITION IS NOT SUFFICIENT AND NOT ASERTADA.

Summary: The objective of this work has been conducting an analysis that will allow us to define the construction conditional concesivas in Spanish, in particular, we have focused on structures with conditional concesivas scalar and even though + subjunctive. To do so, we have located in grammar constructions as methodological framework, since this area allows us to integrate information disciplining semantic, syntactic and pragmatic in the grammatical description of the units. Buildings conditional concesivas are hybrid structures, which is why, for analysis, we have defined the first conditional constructions, on the one hand, and construction concesivas, on the other. The conditional constructions are characterized by the expression of sufficient condition and not asertada. Practically speaking, moreover, can develop other values. Thus, the sufficient condition is likely to become sufficient and necessary. Also, the non Claims can lead to values of epistemic modality associated with unreality, as hipoteticidad, the likelihood and contrafactualidad. Construction concesivas, for his part, expressed the condition is not sufficient, therefore contravene involvement budgeted. From the point of view argumentative, are mechanisms contraargumentación because prótasis represents a contraargumento weak to the conclusion that appears in the apódosis. The conditional concesivas as hybrid structures, share traits with conditionals and the concesivas. They can be characterized by the following features: prótasis complex (consisting of more than one condition); prótasis not asertada (which remains in the background discursive); apódosis aserlada (in the foreground of the speech); meaning of opposition and contrast (due to condition is not sufficient). Depending on the mechanism for expressing the prótasis complex, it is possible to identify three types of conditional concesivas: universal, referring to a set of unspecified conditions (Anyone who has been finding the culprit), altemativas , expressing two conditions altemativas (you like it or not, you can do it) and the scalar, which include a scale of conditions Even if it rains, we will go to the beach). All conditional concesivas expressed in this set of conditions, one condition is not sufficient, contrary to the result of the apódosis.Entre conditionals concesivas scalars, we delved into the study of a diachronic climb (though subjunctive +) and a scalar synchronous (even si). Both express the condition is not sufficient (as concesivas) and not asertada (such as conditional). Practically speaking, moreover, can achieve pragmatic values associated with the epistemic modality (hipoteticidad, probability and contrafactualidad) with irrelevance, or can function as mechanisms discursive of contraargumentación. In buildings with even if the value of not sufficient condition is given by the effect of even whether. Even if a proposal introduced more informative than another, in this case introduces a condition more informative than another because it violates a causative implication budgeted. As for the non - Claims, in the constructions even if it is inherited from the value of another. With regard to the constructions although + subjunctive, the value of not sufficient condition is given, in a conventional manner, though, the non Claims, in this case, is dictated by the meaning of the subjunctive mood (mode of non - assertion, compared to reference). Ultimately constructions conditional concesivas are hybrid structures that reflect the condition is not sufficient and not asertada. In a more general sense, these structures have served us to discuss other issues.

After define, classify and characterize lexemas belonging to the class lexical "verbs of language," states the division and distribution of the internal field léxico - semántico the role metalingüstica to subsequently propose a model for analysis in seven paragraphs to cover the five levels of the basic description of the verbal phrases that make up the corpus: semántico-denotativo, lexicon, sintáctico-semántico, morphological and syntactic. The comparative analysis of features targeted for each of the phrases analyzed enables on the one hand, the properties that define these units and differ from other types locutions designating value metalingüstico and other system units and Furthermore, to determine what factors affect its appearance and use as elements of the speech, both intralingüstico as interlingüstico.
  • CONTACT LANGUAGE BETWEEN SPANISH AND QUECHUA: AN APPROACH COGNITIVO-PRAGMÁTICO OF TRANSFERS MORPHOSYNTACTIC IN SPANISH PERUVIAN ANDES

Summary: The contact between languages is a universal fact that there has been since ancient times, from the very moment that various social groups began to establish relations of a different type. Lately, there has been significant research in different countries that have shown progress in the field of languages in contact. Thus, with respect to studies of contact in Latin America, there is an interesting case of languages in contact in the Peruvian Andean area, in the dialect has been called Andean Spanish. This variant lingüstica is the result of influence between the Spanish and two Amerindian languages, Quechua and Aymara, different languages from the point of view tipológico-estructural and sociolingüstico. Currently, the Peruvian Andean Spanish is employed by a large mass population that inhabits especially in the Andean zones, either in a position bilingà ¼ e o monolingà ¼ and Spanish, and social groups that have settled in the belts of the big cities of Peru, because the continuing migration, which have led to all sorts of changes which include the lingüsticos. This study has tried simultaneously, the impact of the Quechua morphosyntax of Spanish, which are a series of transfers. The cases chosen for this study were: possessive in the Spanish Andean pronouns átono third person, evidenciales: reportativo, gerund, and the distribution of information. Research has sought to go beyond the strictly grammatical analysis, as it has analyzed the contact between the Spanish and Quechua from an approach cognitivo-pragmático, which has enabled more meaningful offer explanations for the occurrence of these phenomena. The combination of cognitive analysis and pragmatic assumption is not exclusive or contradictory, and is justified because both perspectives shared common goals such as the fact that both are interested in the study of the actual language in use, and within a process eminently communicative. Pragmatics has made it possible to explain in terms of communication phenomena morfosintácticos object of our study, whose meaning and operation depend directly dela situation speaks. And cognitivismo In particular, the theory of the prototypes has enabled distinguish in each type of transfer cases morphosyntactical more prototypical and less representative. The prospect cognitivo-pragmática has facilitated the causal explanation of the phenomena of morphosyntactical transfer. The proposed approach has provided mechanisms to complement and matizarlas grammatical considerations of the phenomena morfosintácticos and has helped to simplify the description of the level of structural Spanish Peruvian Andes. Of course, throughout this analysis have been implicated, permanently, both factors lingüsticos (internal) and the sociocultural (external).

Summary: This thesis had its genesis in the interest of deepening the study of a phenomenon lingüstico and cultural generated in Medellin and its metropolitan area beginning of the eighties, because of the rise of drug trafficking and all that world of transgression and violence what surrounds. Since this situation arose a variety dialect, a argótico called parlache, which was quickly spread to other sectors of society and arrived at the media and contemporary literature antioqueña. This phenomenon lingüstico already made, co-author with Henao Ignacio Salazar, a research sociolingüstica, from which we note that the topic had great potential for research on him and that there were still many aspects to explore. We plant, then, for this argument, the need for a study lexicológico and lexicográfico of parlache in order to prepare materials to produce, subsequently, a dictionary. The body of work consists of seven chapters, as follows: The first, introductory, which defines the object to study and raises the background. The second, on the methodology, which explains the steps that were followed in the development of work. Chapters third, fourth and fifth are dedicated to the explanation of the theoretical concepts basic to the definition of points of departure and the analysis and classification of the lexicon of parlache, made up of wax 2600 words and phrases. The analysis and classification were carried out from the proposals made by the most representative studies on morphology and Spanish phraseology. In some cases, there are also the meanings. In the sixth and seventh chapters, the results are presented in figures and graphs, and people comment on the specific explanations of the vocabulary of parlache and presents the findings of work. In conclusion, the present literature and an appendix devoted to the appendices.

Summary: The purpose of this paper is to analyze comparatively the stories of Adam and Eve in Genesis 2-3, Fauto Goethe and the portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde as myths of transgression, with a view to establishing some structural elements common to all of them. These texts share a number of characteristics narratives, transgression pair wing quest for knowledge, or beauty and eternity are usually unhappy about outcomes, like many other stories of literature and some on which exerted considerable influence. The purpose is to defend the hypothesis that there is an imaginary common foundation for these texts seemingly disparate as through the analysis of the works and wants to target specific possible explanations interpretations of the same from a mythical, using theoretical and methodological tools, from fields as the theory of literature and science of religions, which can make a more pluralistic vision, and complete as possible. It also wants to contribute to the development of a practical and theoretical model to serve as an example for the comparative study of the myths, for investigation of interdisciplinary topics like this, from a hermeneutic open, but not weak nor inihilista. Efforts have been made to conduct a scientific study between literature and religion, both of which systems based largely worldview of the companies, both traditional and modern, and whose mutual honor seems to be a desire Dissatisfied product of the crisis of human existence according to reveal different scholars. We studied the concepts of religion, anthropological structures of the imaginary, the contributions of Otto, M. Eliade and other authors critical to establish the proper classification that has allowed us to consider, under the heading of transgression, understanding that myths and stories are about freedom, the yearning and the temporality, the pursuit of knowledge, of youth / beauty, the tragedy of finitude. In turn, it worked, "good against evil" and "punishment and / or salvation" to analyze later variants of myth, the similarities and differences between the three stories. Finally, we established a chapter of CONCLUSIONS, seeking to express the confirmation of the initial assumption, saying the similar structure and a common scheme imaginary equally shared. We also affirm with a focus multidisicplinar, the role of religious literature, we need the definition of myth and conducted the most exhaustive possible typology of the myths of transgression, its evolution and variants and its continued validity of the structures of anthropological is imaginary common. We also provide some conclusions methodological, it is estimated, they may have some value for future studies interdisciplinary. It also provides literature and criticism needed to assess the work and allow them to better contrast and subsequent analysis.
