  • ANALYSIS DISCURSIVE STUDENT TESTING.

    Summary: Writing at the university level is a subject on which it is common to hear comments on the unmet expectations of teachers and students. We wonder, Do you discourse analysis can contribute to better describe the problems of student writing and contributing to propose solutions in the field of teaching of the mother tongue? In recent decades, the development of discourse analysis as a set of different methodological approaches to explain the presence of the writer and the reader's influence in the texts, has become a useful tool to describe the competition lingüstica, communicative and the discursive students. That is why we have chosen different approaches to discourse to describe the employment of people discursive, and metadiscurso interpersonal markers in a sample of twenty essays written by students argumentativos the first and fourth year of the career of Social Communication at the University of Los Andes (Venezuela), in order to contribute to the teaching and assessment of these academic texts. The comparative results between the A and B corpus indicate that: 1 - The person is not the most widely used and that the use of the first person is higher in the corpus A. 2 - The connectors are configured differently in the body of A and B, there is a higher trend in the first contrastive corpus in the second. In the corpus B connectors are used additives and organizers of the information to argue, while in the body, will be made with connectors contrargumentativos. 3 - There is greater presence of elements metadiscursivos B in the body, especially the markers attitude and the modular. In sum, we believe that the analysis discrusivo aplciado contributes to improving student test description, and consequently his teaching and evaluation.     Summary: The Wiwas are one of the four groups originating in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountain range located in the Colombian Caribbean region of America. The language of the group is Damana, belonging to the family lingüstica Chibcha. This thesis presents the grammar of the language, Damana. The Doctoral thesis is divided into two main sections, the first of which presents and analyzes the context and situation of the language and community-Wiwa, that is the frame of reference describing the language and its speakers, communities lingüsticas in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the family studies lingüstica Chibcha, etc.. The second part discusses and develop structures lingüsticas fundamentale of Damana: the phonological, morphological, and morfosintácito of the tongue. It also explores the major grammatical categories of damana: the person, deixis, quantification and qualification. It deals with the analysis of the organization's speech at damana: the phrasing and its typology, coordination, subordination, modalities, denial, preaching, etc..
