Summary: In this report there is a technical analysis of the main components in terms discreet and functional, establishing a parallel between them, both in the form of plantearlos as in the solving of from a theoretical standpoint. He then elaborates on the major functional components analysis (ACPF), knowing in advance the great difficulty involved in working with functions rather than vectors. In addition, it provides a method that allows interpret the major functional components obtained by applying the technique earlier, based on the role of correlation between the original and each of the components. Currently interpretations given in specific applications not based on statistical techniques that provide objectivity to them and, consequently, this approach counteracts this shortcoming. It also defines a function that allows quantitative evaluation of each individual studied based on their behavior with respect to the variable interest in the various sections identified with the prior art. There are potential applications in business with ACPF, which can make many improvements because when work is being carried out in this sector generamente uses a large volume of data and multiple variables. It makes a real application in the area of motor insurance, which aims to propose a new companies setting premiums for the acquisition of new customers. To do so, is seen as a series of profiles and notes the risk of occurrence of a particular incident in each of the age groups considered.

Summary: The theory of the calculus Fraccionario, ie the study of differential and integral calculus of any real order, has been the tool that has made it possible to study various generalizations of the classical equations of diffusion and wave through equations containing derived from actual order, and that interpolaran steadily both equations, hyperbolic and parabolic - type respectively. First, they have found some aspects of the well-known equation Dissemination Fraccionaria obtained by replacing the standard diffusion equation of the first derivative with respect to time and / or the second derivative with respect to the space, a derivative fractional real order . Successively has studied alternative a generalization of classical equations in question, provided by a system of equations of Evolución-Difusión type Dirac Fraccionarias obtained considering a kind of square root of the diffusion equation of fractional generalising the classic method used by Dirac to get his famous equation for the electron free from the equation Klein-Gordon. Finally, a study has been made of the numerical equation Seno-Gordon Fraccionaria, which is a particular equation Klein-Gordon non-linear and non-local in which the non-linearity is within the function and the town is not defined by the operator referral fraction of Feller-Riesz. This equation can be viewed as a generalization of a divisional model nonlinear wave propagation, which happens to be not local to be local.

Summary: Although the first fixed-point theorem metric was given by S. Banach in 1922, we can say that the theory of Punto Fijo Metrics begins in 1965 when FAITH Browder, D. GÃ ¶ hde and WA Kirk prove the existence of fixed points for applications not expansive in Banach spaces verifying certain geometric properties. These results establish a bridge, hitherto non-existent between the Geometric Theory of Banach Spaces, a topic usually framed in Linear Functional Analysis, and the Theory of Punto Fijo, a topic for the Nonlinear Functional Analysis. From this moment many researchers worry about exploiting this connection, essentially considering other properties of geometric spaces Banach (convexity uniform smoothness uniform conditions of type Opial almost uniform convexity, almost uniform smoothness, and so on.) That can be applied to prove the existence of fixed points for various types of non-linear operators. Partners such properties are defined modules and geometric ratios that characterize and give an idea of quantitative verification. The modules are probably the best known form of Clarkson uniform convexity of the module and uniform smoothness. These, and many others relating to other geometric properties, have been very useful in the study of the existence of fixed points of operators not expansive. In 1995 C. Benitez, K. Prezslawski and D. Yost set a module, module called quadrature, which characterizes simultaneously different geometric properties of the spaces regulated (convexity uniform smoothness uniform, normal structure, almost square, and so on.). The advantage that this module has on other previously defined as the uniform smoothness module, the module from Clarkson, and so on.) Is able to measure simultaneously the softness and the convexity of space rather than independently. The module quadrature (as convexity and uniform smoothness) is a finito-dimensional, ie just depends on the subspace dimension finite space considered. However, since the earlier versions interesting geometric properties have a infinito-dimensional to be known almost uniform smoothness and nearly uniform convexity) is natural planteares the existence of a module that characterize these properties simultaneously. The objective of the first part of the thesis is to define a new form of character infinito-dimensional that is suitable for measuring almost simultaneously convexity and nearly uniform smoothness and make a thorough study of that module. In particular we calculate the value of this module in some classic, we study some basic properties (growth, convexity, continuity regarding its variable and over distances Banach-Mazur, etc.. (And get some results for fixed-point applications univaludadas not expansive. In the second part we use this module, and some other acquaintances to get fixed-point theorems for applications multivaluadas not expansive that give some partial answers to the problem of extending the famous theorem kirk. Particularly tested that spaces are uniformly soft ownership of fixed point for applications multivaluadas not expansive (problem has been open for many years). These modules also allow results stability of ownership of fixed point for applications multivaluadas.

Summary: Today, the size of the software is used in the management and production control as one of the essential parameters of the models to estimate that contribute to the quality of software projects and deliverables. While the importance of early measurement of the size it is clear, now this measurement is achieved only in later stages of the software life cycle (analysis, design and implementation). The size of software can be quantified using different techniques, such as lines of code and methods for measuring functional size. A method for measuring functional size measured by quantifying the size of the software functional requirements. The method Function Point Analysis (FPA) is the method most used. This method was developed to measure Management Information Systems developed with traditional methods. Although IFPUG FPA has become more popular in the industry, this method lacks applicability to all types of software and new development paradigms. To address these weaknesses, COSMIC-FFP has emerged as a method of second-generation and has been tested as an international standard (ISO / IEC 19761). However, the generality of COSMIC-FFP needs to be instantiated through a more focused and systematic in conjunction with a method of software development.

Summary: The partial assessment conducted by narrowing (NPE: Narrowing-driven Partial Evaluation) is a powerful technique for the specialty systems rewrite, ie, for the first order component of many declarative languages (software) as a functional Haskell, or Toy Curry. The partial evaluators are classified into two broad categories: online and offline, according to the time they are considered temporary aspects of completion of the process of specialization. Evaluators partial online are usually more accurate because they have more information available. Evaluators partial offline commonly come in two phases, the first phase processing software (eg, to identify those function calls that can be deployed without the risk of non-completion) and includes annotations to guide the partial computations, and then a second stage, the partial assessment itself, you only have to obey the annotations and therefore especializador is much faster than in the approximation online. This thesis presents a new scheme of partial evaluation conducted by narrowing, more efficient and ensures completion in the original offline. To that end, we identified a characterization program cuasi-terminantes those who call "not growing." In such programs, the computations required by narrowing presented only a finite set of different terms (module renaming of variables). The ownership of the cuasi-terminación is important since their presence is normally a sufficient condition for the completion of the process of specialization. However, the kind of programs cuasi-terminantes is very restrictive, so we introduced an algorithm that accepts inductivamente sequential programs --- a much broader class which is defined on the narrowing necessary --- and write those parts that violate the characterization of the program not growing. To handle adequately the new terms Scored extend the terms of narrowing, which call: narrowing necessary generalizante. Once the scheme, we developed a prototype for offline partial evaluation conducted by narrowing. The experimental validation throws resutlados showing a significant improvement in the time especializaicón offline over the scheme online. Recently, it has made a fresh start for the analysis of termination of programs based on the change in the size of the arguments of the function calls. With the aim of improving the precision of the phase anotaicónpropia the new scheme, we have adapted the change in the size of graphs (graphs size-change), originally introduced for functional languages, the language logical functional. In particular gragos we are helpful to determine a specific form of cuasi-terminación, which eventually use to annotate the style of our first proposal offline. The embedded domain-specific languages (DESLs) generated code inefficient due to the overload of interpretation, so (Hudak 1998, Seefried et al. 2004, Christensen 2003) among others, raise the use of partial evaluation techniques as a means to remedy this shortcoming. At this point select the domain of routers, in particular the model of software routers Click and develop a specification language for routers called R.

Summary: The theory renormamiento studying problems related to the construction of equivalent standards in Banach spaces with good properties of convexity or diferenciabilidad. In this thesis, we are particularly interested in renormamientos local uniformly rounded in Banach spaces of type C (K). The norm |. | An area of Banach said local X is uniformly rodunda (UWR for short) if lim | x-x_n | = 0 when the succession (x_n) _n and point x are elements of the field unit fulfilling lim x | x + x_n | = 2. The spaces of real functions and continuous defined compacts are considered classic examples in the theory of Banach spaces. The thesis is divided into three chapters and consists of an introduction contextualiza where the central problem of the same. In the first chapter characterize the existence of equivalent standards UWR spaces in C (K) in terms of two concepts topological: coordinates and controls coverage of K sets of small oscillation. Likewise, we also characterize the sigma-fragmentabilidad and property SLD C (K) according to such notions topological. In the second chapter we present a method to build semi-espacios open that it is necessary to implement the central theorem first chapter. The third chapter is devoted to applications. It infers the existence of renormamientos UWR, through a unified approach in the following areas of responsibilities: C (K) where K is a compact Namioka-Phelps (also included the case of compact sigma-discretos); C (K) where K is a compact Rosenthal separable with the property that every function K is at best an amount numerable of discontinuities; space of continuous functions which lapse at infinity defined in a tree Hausdorff T admits an increasing role and not constant in any subset ever-branching Ty who has no bad points; C (L) where L is a compact completely sorted and there is a diminishing role in L intervals that is not constant in any system dyad intervals L, C (K, E) if the space Banach E & (K) admit a renormamiento UWR.

Summary: This report examines systems generators L ^ 2 (R) formed by translations in time and frequency of a feature set. The first part focuses on the study of systems of generators formed only by a set of translations. It gives a partial description of the functions that can lead to a system of generators. It also discusses sets of discrete translations for which we can get this kind of systems, both in general and in specific cases where it gets a description of all or part of these packages. The second part discusses the frames and bases of L ^ 2 (R) consisting of translations and modulations of a fixed function (Gabor), or by translations and dilations (ondículas). Sample results are obtained that will lead to sufficient conditions for a discrete set a framework if the function we use is good enough.
