Summary: The desire to know the future and what is to come is unknown to mortals accompanied by the experiences of the peoples of the ancient world. This mentality led the development of multiple religious rites of divination that despite the triumph of secularism that brought enlightenment and Christian doctrine in the seventeenth century, remained on the beliefs of citizens to the present. This presents a paradox in view of the achievements of science and rationalism have earned over many centuries of science education. The hundreds of agoreros involved today to make speculations clients in the radio, television and in their bazaars, show that this rite is far from survive only in marginality.
