Knowing the principal features that have had the training of teachers of History, Geography and Social Sciences Chileans. C. Finding the perception that teachers of history Chileans have on the degree of utility of the initial and ongoing training. D. Finding the perception that teachers of history Chileans have the effects that has represented the Education Reform in Sector Curricular History and Social Sciences. Methodology: This research used as a tool for collecting information a questionnaire of 90 questions, divided into four areas. In its development stages normally met established by specialists research methodology and criteria are considered as aspects of the characteristics of the object of study of research, level of rigor and quality, the ability of the staff involved; access the sources of information necessary time available resources and the human, social and economic rights. With this instrument was collected information on the type of training that has prevailed among teachers Chilean History, Geography and Social Sciences, both initial and ongoing training. In addition, it addressed their areas of knowledge and vocational preparation, both disciplinary and educational aspects, in the context of an educational reform that has continued improvement policies for teachers and demanded of them new skills, abilities and domain content. The questionnaire was submitted to all the teachers of history of the V Region. After three calls were successfully completed 186 questionnaires, representing 38.5% of the total. Contributions: This thesis reached several conclusions depending on the various objectives and assumptions. His greatest contribution to be traced as it is a first scientific approach to the training of teachers in Chilean history. In this country, have not yet been established lines of research on the Teaching of History and the Social Sciences or the formation of Staff. Therefore, as this thesis research represents an initial mapping of the characteristics of such training, no doubt, will open up new research in universities and educational information to the authorities when making decisions related to the faculty of history. Among the key findings include: Initial training of teachers Chilean History, Geography and Social Sciences was dominated by historical knowledge. The secondary school teachers have been trained over historians that teachers, even if they also do not have adequate knowledge in connection with the construction of historical knowledge. They believe that the historical had a much higher quality than a geographical one. The teacher training is scheduled with many weaknesses and great distance from the other two disciplines that have shaped the university curricula. There is a lack of knowledge about important approaches and currents historio graphic. Teachers from secondary were not fonnados following these críterios. They prevailed training focused on traditional political history, according to comments historical stories generals. The historic cientificidad usually located within a context of positivism. Moreover, the relationship history with social science is not always perceived by teachers as a good thing. They feel that the social sciences can be a danger to the way they have designed the teaching of history in the future. The formation of the pro-8 teachers a47 history has lasted the same time as the other university degrees. The choice of studying pedagogy is strongly linked to the value of history as a discipline. The teaching practices were also traditional, with a clear predominance of lectures and exhibition. In training there is a long standing tradition. Among the teachers there is a culture of the upgrade. A significant percentage of respondents not returned to the university since its release. Those who have made improvements were dissatisfied because they can not find that continuing education has served to enhance their professional practices in the classroom. The utility of the initial training in practice was also under discussion because a significant percentage of those polled felt that such training was limited utility when desatollar the profession in a school. The experience of most of the teachers was to resume the study of many subjects in college that were not revised. This was evident in the preparation of university curricula do not take account of programs in secondary education and was known as carving reality of History teachers. Therefore, the degree of influence and impact of university education in the practice of these teachers is minimal. At the same time, research proves that among the teachers there is a broadly negative perception of educational policies developed by the Education Reform in History and Social Sciences. The discomfort of teachers is due to the lack of participation. The teachers feel that they have not been adequately consulted by the authorities before setting educational policies. Consider that most of the policies desatolladas for curriculum reform for the sector History and Social Sciences and in general for all disciplinary areas of the school curriculum have not been well implemented. The level of criticism of teachers of history with this educational reform has focused specifically on the degree of realization of its policies.

Summary: The Information Technology and Communications (hereinafter ICT) already have a long history in the field of education, however some areas of the curriculum have been kept away from this relationship. This could be the case of Physical Education in Primary Education, whose guidance on motor activity has not been conducive to this relationship. On the other hand many circumstances advised that the technology has to be part of school activities from different perspectives. Among them, we could cite the guidelines presented by the Delors Report (1996), whereby the technologies could promote the continuous enrichment of knowledge, promote equal opportunities, or provide a means of socialization. On the other hand ensuring access for all to ICTs, is one of the objectives of the council of Europe in the coming years. Therefore it is considered that no area of the curriculum should remain detached from this commitment. An analysis on the use of technology in the field of physical activity and sport, revealed that it already has several decade of initiative, linked mainly to motor learning, training, management and high performance, but that school this relationship has been rather low. It seems that the faculty of Physical Education technology used primarily for the management of the course and its tasks as a teacher: planning, programming, recording observations .. But learn Physical Education with the ICT think that enters into conflict with the intent of the area. In this sense, the ultimate aim of the thesis focuses on "Finding the appropriate treatment which should take ICT, both from the perspective of teachers and students in Physical Education from primary school, understood as an area whose specificity is your relationship with the motor activity. " Intent to be trying to answer through information collected through various quantitative and qualitative techniques. Thus, some interviews with experts contributing their understanding of the circumstances surrounding the use of ICT in education, questionnaires on a sample of Teachers of Physical Education of the City of Barcelona lets us an approximation of the actual use that makes the faculty of Physical Education of ICT, and provides information for discussion groups and forums telematic professionals provide information on existing experiences, as well as to determine the requirements for the incorporation of ICT in Physical Education primary. In conclusion it could be said that ICT can not and should not replace the motor activity in primary school, but that may represent a good strategy to earn hours for the area, encourage certain attitudes, or processes and reflection. However, any initiative to be the result of thinking and planning, and not just the technological imperative. The technology and its benefits are a right of each and every citizen. Adecuarla the needs, a prerequisite.
