Summary: This research has its origins in a first approach to the subject of study that was done about two years ago. The results were the same: * Suspicion of hearing loss comes from the family (non-implementation of universal newborn screening). * It notes a lack of adequate information and treatment dehumanized by the pediatrician. * The process that followed the families was very painful: experienced bewilderment, anxiety, self-pity, social distancing. * Under families receive more information and guidance best face deafness. * CREDAs: recognition of service. * Families suggest emotional support, more information, contact with other families, objectivity alternatives. These results suggested we investigate further across the line of parental emotional support, specifically parental stress. The literature dealing with the issue reported conflicting results. We think it is very likely that the most encouraging results of these investigations may be linked with the advanced technologies of hearing and with the service that may be receiving families. Also, from the importance of family background in the development of the creatures deaf and interactions between parents and children that occur therein, we decided to deepen the richness of the educational environment and the parenting styles of education. This study, therefore, defines one hand, two qualities of the interaction mother / creature: the richness of the educational context and style education. Moreover selecting one of the characteristics possibly influential in those rates, maternal stress. It is intended valued variables influyesen in each of the three dimensions and to clarify the possible relationship between them. All this with the ultimate aim of providing performance criteria to guide families. The study raises the following objectives: * Rate maternal stress to the education of the deaf child. * Analyze the quality of the educational context in terms of wealth and support for exponential development that the deaf child receives at home. * Examine the educational styles in terms of empowerment, distinguishing styles democratic, authoritarian, permissive and indifferent. * Evaluate the impact of maternal stress on the quality of educational context and the educational style. * Deducting of empirical data and the literature reviewed, the basic criteria for family counseling in the dimensions studied. The main objective of this study is to identify possible factors influyesen in each of these dimensions, shed light on the possible relationship between them and extract the criteria to optimize the guidance and advice family. To achieve this overall objective raised the following specific objectives: 1-To determine stress levels of the study population (above, normal or low). 2-Identify the sources of stress that contemplates the study population (perception of the characteristics of the child, perception of their role as mothers and the perception of its own stress in everyday life). 3-To evaluate the sociodemographic characteristics of mothers that may influence the level of stress (age, number of children, education level, employment status, job change following the diagnosis of deafness of the creature, and so on.). 4-Evaluate the characteristics of the children that may influence the stress level of the mother (hearing loss, application of hearing aid or cochlear implant, age, gender, level of language). 5-To determine the richness of the educational context of the study population (top, middle and low). 6-To evaluate the sociodemographic characteristics of mothers that may influence the richness of the educational context (age, number of children, education level, employment status, job change following the diagnosis of deafness of 8 breeding 6d2 ture, type of family , and so on. 7-Rate perception of the mother of the characteristics of child and his role as a mother who can influence the richness of the educational context. 8-Evaluate the characteristics of the children who can influence the wealth of the educational context (hearing loss, age hearing, application of hearing aid or cochlear implant, age, gender, level of language). 9-Determine the styles education in the study population. 10-Evaluate the characteristics of mothers who they can influence the style education (age, number of children, education level, employment status, job change following the diagnosis of deafness of the creature, type of family, etc..). 11-Rate perception of the mother of characteristics of the child and his role as a mother that may influence styles of education. 12-Evaluate the characteristics of the children that may influence the educational style (hearing loss, age hearing, application of hearing aid or cochlear implant, age, gender, level of language).

Summary: The Information Technology and Communications (ICT) are present in various fields and their use is becoming an essential condition to function in today's society, the so-called information society or knowledge society. Although in recent years the ICT has been expanded considerably there are certain sectors of the population, with limited opportunities to access these technologies, mainly due to economic hardships and training, as is the case of persons with intellectual disabilities. This is causing the emergence of a division between those who have access to ICT and those who do not, place and the phenomenon of the "digital divide". This gap fragments to society in two, giving rise to a new social exclusion: "infoexclusión." The BIT Training System is a system designed to alleviate the "digital divide" by facilitating the learning of ICT for people with Down's syndrome and / or intellectual disabilities. Access to ICTs by participating in this Training System enables people with cognitive limitations learn to use tools in common use. The application of various statistical tests to resutlados offered by a sample of one hundred and forty-three people with Down's syndrome and / or intellectual disabilities indicate that the training system is a system BIT effective training for people with intellectual disabilities learn to use ICT. In addition, people with Down's syndrome and / or intellectual disabilities are part of the pilot group to participate in the Training System BIT, obtained significant improvements in cognitive processes related to attention, psychomotor speed and visual discrimination. The realization of a regression analysis would verify that variables such as age, IQ, analysis and reproduction of spatial relationships, the perception of the constancy of form and short term memory significantly affect the learning of ICT in people with Down's syndrome / or intellectual disabilities.

The software "Hercules and Jiló" developed in the meta-lenguaje Director 7, works concepts of Natural Sciences, particularly those related to the Living Beings (Features, sorting, food chain, differences between living things and no-vivos, natural environment and built environment. using concepts such as focus and learning objectives, the software creates learning situations in which children work their motor coordination, their ability to understand, to memorize information, his linguistic and mathematical literacy, in addition to their computer literacy and that allows the teacher to work other concepts and skills since they feel necessary. software seeks to place the child with mental retardation in context defined by a series of activities ludico-pedagógicas completely focused its stimulation in the broad sense of the term and not restrict the use of the computer as a means of communication. Our software is intended primarily to teacher, to the extent that all activities and games offered need to be included under the umbrella of specific pedagogic work to be explored immediately next to the student, articulating and curiosity. strategies used in the investigation are prosecuted in a research perspective, in which a capacity for learning is associated with the investigation process. assessed software "Hercules and Jiló" 50 teachers of students with mental retardation of education Public Federal District. final stage of the investigation, defined as Case Study, it was the observation and analysis of the application software "Hercules and Julió" in a group of 10 students with mental retardation, being literate, a school to the public network, in the central area of Brasilia. The results of the investigation indicated that the software is a motivator and teacher's work encourages him to develop meaningful learning activities with students with mental retardation. Our expectation is that this research contributes to the advancement of the use of computers as educational support for the process of teaching students with mental retardation and that could encourage further studies, in addition to those that have already been taken up at the time and that they can also contribute to the construcicón other educational software, and collaborate more effectively with the education of students with mental retardation emphasizing their potential and facilitating their full inclusion in school and in society.
