SHARES OF EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATIONS SPANISH STATE LEVEL AND AUTONOMY. STUDY ENTITIES BASED IN THE MADRID (1998-2002)Author: BUJANDA BUJANDA MARIA EUGENIA. Year: 2005. University: COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID [ www.ucm.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN, UNIVERSIDAD COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID. Summary: The purpose of this paper is to analyze how the foundations are contributing in Spain to meet educational needs, in order to delineate its true potential in a time when we are creating great expectations on the third sector as agents of social policy. The theoretical part of the work is to study the current formulation of social policy in education and the right to education as a justification and context of the actions of educational foundations; development and the role of the third sector in societies modern, and the developments that have experienced foundations and its major contributions to society in general and education in particular. The empirical part is the non-experimental study of 526 foundations branch of state level and with headquarters in the Autonomous Region of Madrid, founded before 2003, and developing educational activities. It analyzes its institutional characteristics, its economic size and its current educational activities, from the data collected from its most recent annual accounts available in the records of Foundations, in a period ranging from 1998 to 2002. The study shows that the foundations are continuing their traditional support for private schools, granting scholarships for higher education, and projects in support of people with some form of social disadvantage. But above all its foray into non-formal education, which stresses the expansion of opportunities for continuing education for adults in social areas and pointers with emphasis on satisfying economic needs. The main role they are playing is contributing to the pluralism of educational projects, through which complement the functions of the State, to explore new areas of action where it is not expected that this act.
THE EDUCATIONAL DIMENSION IN CHILDREN'S LITERATURE AND YOUTH. ANALYSIS OF CONTENTS AND VALUES IN THE NATIONAL AWARDS FOR CHILDREN'S LITERATURE AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE TWENTIETH CENTURYAuthor: MORENO GARCÍA CONSUELO. Year: 2005. Summary: The thesis presented is a study from the perspective of three pedagogical aspects of the literature relevant to a theory of education: language, knowledge and training. Considering training as the first and foremost factor to be nuclear in this field of knowledge. As contributions should be emphasized interdisciplinary study, originality and now in the choice of subject and the treatment methodology, a content analysis of specific characteristics. The findings highlight attitudes of players of different stories and also the meaning and direction in their walk through the values and messages that the authors make us get involved and reinforced by the aesthetics of the traits that have literary merit of this fact prestigious prize. TREATMENT OF SCIENCE IN THE PRESS: A STRUCTURE UNDER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE READERAuthor: CONTRERAS MARTINS CLAUDIO. Year: 2005. University: COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID [ www.ucm.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD CIENCIAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN. Place of preparation: FACULTAD CIENCIAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN. Summary: The theme of the research is the treatment of science in the newspapers of general information: news, interviews and articles dealing with science, discusses five daily maximum dissemination and hearing, El Pais, El Mundo, ABC, La Vanguardia and Periodico de Catalunya. There will always be a content analysis to check how often appear certain items or categories related to the philosophy of science, epistemology and scientific terminology. More specifically how often the information is in a concept or idea of explicit science, the scientific method and also explicit meanings of the words or phrases specialized. It also analyzes the possible presence of controversial scientific foundations in the research method and the general concept in the domain of science and science in each particular case and for specific information. It appreciates the presence of scientists, scientific institutions and media scientists. It directs research from three theories concerning structure and composition of the information and stories and sociology in the flow of culture. As reference theoretical generally takes into account the theory of systems and a comprehensive approach oriented as sociobiología in order to assess the information on science in all of the information society and knowledge. Finally, it proposes a model and an application to register the content of the information. The model consists of seven major components related to the identification of the news, the idea of science, the scientific methods and terminology. THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACES OF HYPERMEDIA EDUCATIONAL NAVIGATED BY VIRTUAL ACTORSAuthor: ARMENTEROS GALLARDO MANUEL. Year: 2005. University: COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID [ www.ucm.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN. Summary: The thesis examines the communication in a hypermedia model based on the use of three-dimensional virtual spaces navigated by agents. Building on a body formed by the theoretical analysis of the image and kinetic, theory and cybernetics Psychopedagogy, carried out an experiment on a sample of 104 subjects between the ages of ten and twelve years. The main aim is to discover whether the use of agents and three-dimensional virtual environments in video games influences the attractiveness raised in users, and, so, to implement these factors to the development of hipermedias education. The research is conducted on a model that uses a virtual agent that sails on three-dimensional environments, and discusses what is the degree of acceptance that generates the use of agents on the traditional way of navigating the cursor, as well as the impact on spatial interpretation. It also analyzes the influence that can have membership in a social class or middle Medium and gender on its interest in the model, the ability to retain information on navigation, and easy to locate correctly sites visited.
ADULT EDUCATION IN THE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND CRAFTS OF VIGO IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, AND ITS INFLUENCE ON SOCIETY VIGUESA THIS TIMEAuthor: DURÁN RODRÍGUEZ M. DOLORES. Year: 2005. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN-CENTRO DE FORMACIÓN DEL PROFESORADO. UNIVERSIDAD COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID. Summary: This work is carried out research on adult education (workers and not workers of both sexes) in the school of arts and crafts Vigo during the first third of the twentieth century, including the history of this school, the characteristics of students, teachers and administrative staff, teaching methodology and procedures applied, as well as all school teachers and extracurricular activities that students perform at the center this period. Finally, it establishes a causal relationship between the educational work of the school and cultural development and industrial society of Vigo at that time and immediately after. The conclusions showed the confirmation of the hypothesis posed at the beginning, that such a relationship would be decisive. ANALYSIS OF THE ATTITUDES OF TEACHERS TO THE EDUCATION OF GIFTED CHILDREN: IMPLICATIONS FOR TEACHER TRAININGAuthor: MEDINA BALMASEDA MARIA TERESA. Year: 2005. University: COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID [ www.ucm.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN. Summary: This Doctoral Thesis aims to analyze the attitudes of teachers of Primary Education, both active in training on the gifted children and their education. The theoretical foundation, which is covered in Part One, gives way to the field study conducted on a representative sample of teachers capital Madrid (M = 1150; 565 teachers active and concerted public schools, 535 teacher training, teaching students, and 50 directors of schools, public and concluded, those who participated in the study). The measuring instruments have been employed: the opinion questionnaire for teachers in training and active and structured interview for the directors of the schools. For the processing of data has been used SPSS version 11.5 for Windows. Analysis of the results reveals, among other things, the existence of significant differences between the views expressed by respondents of different samples of teachers, about gifted students and their education, as well as the influence of training, they say having received on these students, their attitude of acceptance. Among the contributions to highlight the collection of existing Spanish legislation on these students, since the revised Law Moyano until the year 2005 and the inclusion of the first legal texts. THE EDUCATION OF THE FEMALE POPULATION AT SCHOOL CENTERS OF THE ARAB AND ISLAMIC COMMUNITY OF MADRID.Author: RODRÍGUEZ MARTÍNEZ ALICIA. Year: 2005. University: AUTÓNOMA DE MADRID [ www.uam.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE FILOSOFÍA Y LETRAS. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE FILOSOFÍA Y LETRAS. Summary: This research work has been carried out a study of the establishment and creation of the Arab and Islamic centers that are currently doing a teacher at the Community of Madrid. Within the study of the centers have responded to the following issues: the organization of the center, which is the body responsible for administering the center, which is the educational system employee (similarities and differences between the educational system applied in the country of origin ), what subjects they are studying and within particular attention has been paid to the study of the subjects of English and history of Spain: Finally, the investigation has focused on female students who extended their studies in these centers. The thesis is divided into two main parts: The first part is devoted to the chronological development of the issue of immigration to Spain and the European Union, to serve as an introductory part to the situation of the population of immigrant origin árabo-islámico. Along with the study of this issue, in this first part, has investigated the establishment of the Islamic Commission of Spain and the educational work being developed. That work is reflected in the course of Islamic Religious Education. The second part is the body of the thesis, because it is the study of the centers under investigation. In each of the centers he has devoted a chapter which contains the history of women's education in the countries of origin, and the history and operation of the centers that currently are in the Community of Madrid. This second part ends with a chapter that deals with the subject of Arabic Language and Culture Moroccan, devoting special attention to the female students studying. Summary: THIS TRAFFIC IN DELIMITAR THE RESEARCH NEEDS PERSONAL, INTERPRETATION MATHEMATICAL LOCATED A PRACTICE CRAFTAuthor: ALBERTÍ PALMER MIQUEL. Year: 2006. University: AUTÓNOMA DE BARCELONA [ www.uab.es]. Place of defense: AUTÓNOMA DE BARCELONA. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA EDUCACIÓN (UAB). Summary: This thesis deals with the identification of mathematics in a practical and focuses on architectural ornamentation of the people toraja, on the island of Sulawesi (Indonesia). Its objectives are: to develop a method to identify mathematics in a practical and based on the identification of him math ornamentation architectural toraja, revise the concept of practical mathematics and study the implications for teaching math education. The mathematical located Interpretation (IMS) is built on a structure to practice obra-acabada (product), obra-en-curso (development process) and obra-explicada (purpose and justification of the authors). The interpretations mathematics (IM) developed at each level structural be validated (or rebutted, and in this case, amended) in the other. Only the mathematics of IM confirmed at the three levels will be part of the IMS. This is a scientific approach to the practice in which IM grow as mathematical models through confirmations and refutations as if it were scientific theories. This methodology of analysis reveals that each engraving is done on a grid, so the designs toraja are geometric. The delineation of these grids is based on the method Kira-kira a solution recurrent (non Euclidean) of the division of a segment in equal parts. This method is practical and effective working in vertical planes where Euclidean solution is impractical. Among the tools toraja no rules or calculators. While cheap artisans, reject. They prefer the strip of bamboo (undivided) and the meter bamboo. Unlike standard compass, it would not collapse, its radius is visible and sustained vertical planes. The ribbon is used to take lengths and transporting. The IMS of ornamentation toraja is a Euclidean geometry in terms of objects and concepts, but not in terms of its procedures. Rather than practice math to talk about mathematics in a practical situations. What makes mathematics a situation is the way it solves. It proposes a mathematical classification of the solutions that purifies the dichotomy between analytic or (certified) and analog (not certified). Among the latter were distinguished Deductive (experimental and senso-motrices) of the non Deductive. The study of the tools toraja shows the mediator who have these devices in mathematical cognition: the strip of bamboo is a continuum of points, but rational points in the meter bamboo design circumference as a set of equidistant points of another is direct (visible radius) unlike what happens in the standard meter (virtual radio). Artisans toraja not learning to resolve the situations they face at school, but from their ancestors and elders. They form a community of practice of non-formal learning that reinforces the theories of the development of knowledge located. As regards to the educational applications, it becomes clear that the outcome and process are not sufficient to assess the knowledge of a person. There is a need for interpellation. Without it there is a risk to declare as incompetent who is not. Moreover, the IMS is useful to avoid falling into mathematical projections to raise teaching-learning activities in which mathematics relate to real phenomena. For all, IMS becomes an excellent conductura for research etnomatemática. GENESIS AND EVOLUTION OF THE DRAWING AS A BASIC DISCIPLINE IN THE SECOND LESSONAuthor: Bermúdez Abellán José. Year: 2006. University: MURCIA [ www.um.es]. Place of defense: Facultad de Educación. Place of preparation: Facultad de Educación. Summary: This is the story of a school discipline, drawing in high school. It is the study of the process of setting a discipline that was "invented" to a state system of education that is born with the creation of middle-class liberal state. Before this creation teaching Drawing available practices, speeches and ideas but his own character as school discipline is concrete form instuciocionalizada from liberal educational model to be implemented in 1836. Over the hundred years covered by this study, 1836- 1936, he examines the process of evolution and consolidation of this area and as a character itself acquires and reaches the necessary consideration to be part of the curriculum on a permanent basis. Discusses the importance of drawing, as a component of the aesthetic education in the development of educational thought illustrated, as well as its importance for industrial development during the setup process as school discipline. This study analyzes through the curricula of this period, with the explanatory statement which justifies their need and objectives, different denominations, the specific gravity of the subject, in what appears courses, how many hours a week, what proportion in relation to other matters, what courses, what character may be compulsory or voluntary, and the different ideological orientations of the various governments. Just as the importance of the Institution of Education and Freedom of Instituto-Escuela in the setup process and the consolidation of Teaching Drawing. In this process configuration of the course involved a direct textbooks defining the nature, purpose and the purpose of teaching drawing that reflected in their contents, methodology, the upgrade of the scientific field, as well as his character technical and artistic. This study examines the textbooks used since the nineteenth century until the first quarter of the twentieth century but also the agendas of competitions to be presented opponents aspiring chairs the Institute and the official questionnaires. This study also covers professors Drawing of Secondary Education, because they too are directly involved in shaping the course to be the ones who escribián textbooks, drafted agendas, the courts formed opposition chose the professors who conducted the field and chose assistant professors. This paper delves into the training of these professionals, in the competition to be overcome in the development of the same, as the selection process was evolving, in the exercises, programs and reports that opponents and provided that contains both the update scientific as the character, purpose and justification for the teaching of Drawing. Finally investigates the relationship between professors Institute with the society of their time and their involvement in numerous cultural and artistic activities. Finally, this paper concludes with the idea that the history of the teaching of Drawing is actually the story of two different disciplines, the geometric design on the one hand and artistic design on the other, whose origins, speeches, needs and justifications they are also different. IN PARTICIPAÇAO DOS PAIS / ENCARREGADOS OF EDUCAÇAO NA EDUCAÇAO CHILD. STUDY TWO JARDINS DE INFÒNCIA OF VILA GREEN.Author: RODRIGUES MARIA DE FÁTIMA. Year: 2006. Summary: We have studied the involvement of parents in the public education of children (Jardins de Infà ¢ ncia) of Vila Verde-Portugal. The aim of the thesis is to know which is the effective involvement of parents in educational child, identifying the factors that help or hinder. There will always be a normative study and documentary to know the state of affairs in research and Portuguese laws. It was administered 360 questionnaires to parents and 63 to teachers ( "teaching") to uncover their perceptions and practices regarding such participation. There are also three discussion groups (group of parents, a group of educators and parents' association directive) to deepen understanding of data. The findings suggest that the speech of the importance of parental involvement in children's educational establishments are widely implemented. However, the actual participation is reduced to receive regular information and attend meetings, outings and holidays, being away from the level of decision making. The forms and intensity of this participation depends heavily on the availability of time parents, the opening of the garden and organization of each of the strategies used by each teacher to motivate parents. STYLES EDUCATIONAL AND FAMILY SATISFACTION IN FAMILY RELATIONSHIPSSummary: Following an approach to the concept of family within the overall framework of the general theory of systems, the patterns of Family Functioning and, in particular, the Model Circumplejo of Olson, raised in this research study of the relationship between marital subsystem and relations paternal subsidiaries. This is an ex post facto inquiry in which, through a correlational design is to check two of the main hypotheses studying these relationships: the hypothesis "spillover" compensatory and assumptions. The conclusion that emerges clearly is the relationship between the two subsystems of a rich and complex, hardly definable by the empirical methodology available. ANALYSIS SECURITIES AGENTS TRAINING FOR RESIDENTS OF FAMILY MEDICINE AND COMMUNITY. A STUDY BIOGRÁFICO-NARRATIVO.Author: Sánchez Marín Francisco José. Year: 2006. University: MURCIA [ www.um.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN. Place of preparation: Facultad de Educación. Summary: The training of doctors includes an extensive, complex, diverse and specialized educational course. This research focuses on the process of specialized training of Internal Resident Doctors (MIR) of Family and Community Medicine (MFyC), whose main scenario is the Center for Health Faculty (CSD), where the MIR is protected by another medical specialist more experienced Tutor serves as a reference, the Nurse quota teacher, as well as other tutors and teachers collaborators. In this context describe, analyze and interpret the values arising from the relationship between the Guardian, the MIR and Nurse: vectors that guide educational action, the guidelines that determine the course work and training during the initial phase of the first and third year of training in the CSD of the UER of MFyC Murcia, Lorca and Cartagena. In this sense seeks to point out those elements that determine the teaching of the MIR of MFyC terms of the values in relation to their life experiences. Thus, the first chapter, "The training scenario," presents the main characteristics that define the various scenarios in which this type of training in the field of Medical Education. In the second chapter, devoted to "Medical Profession", abounds in the definition, characteristics and history of the terms "Profession" and "Medical Profession" linking the latter with professional ethics and their key roles, functions, responsibilities and as desirable lines of professionalism. Under the title: "realción education in the context of the formation of the family doctor", introduces the third chapter provides an overview of the terms and conditions under which oriented develop relationships education in general terms and specific coordinates that define the process of mentoring in the formation of the MIR of MFYC. The fourth chapter: "the theoretical framework of values," shows basically flat from a theoretical some of the elements involved in the problems around the values definition, structure, components, characteristics and peculiarities that make it moral. It also offers the same approach from the perspective of philosophy, psychology and ethics. Finally identifies aspects potentially attributable to the value of Trust, Respect, Responsibility and Dialogue. The fifth chapter, "the research methodology" is dedicated to presenting the main assumptions and premises that underlie the paradigm of qualitative research and the contributions made to it by its authors more representative. It also addresses the current biográfico-narrativa as specific method of investigation and interview as a means of data collection. It shows the design of research: the objective, the assumptions of departure, sampling, and sample population used. It describes the key moment of research and the methods and tools used. In chapter: "Analysis and interpretation of results are presented and discussed the results grouped under three headings: 1. Context for interviews. 2. Analysis of the speeches and his joint and disaggregated into professional categories. 3. Interpretation of all speeches. Finally, in the chapter entitled "Conclusions" `presents conclusions that we consider most relevant in the light of the results obtained in four blocks: 1. The values in the life history of tutors, MIR and nurses. 2. The development occurred during the stages of life 3. The process of formation of the MIR of MFYC. 4. The future prospect with the values and teaching EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: DETERMINING FACTOR IN SCHOOL PERFORMANCE.Summary: The title of the thesis is referred to academic performance because the investigation has been conducted with school-age students, however we believe that emotional intelligence encompasses all the academic realm, so I will address RA rather than IR The development of this work has the task of answering the problem being debated today in all educational forums: Origin of school failure of our pupils and measures to be taken to address this situation. My experience as a primary school teacher for over 20 years, has allowed me to see that there are aspects of the personality involved in how students manage their emotions and that this affects their academic performance. I had the opportunity to check in the case of a student with severe learning difficulties (AAP) that the development of skills favored emotional learning and improved academic performance and mismanagement of the emotions it difficult for both learning and declining performance scholastic coming to the conclusion that he intellectual development, emotional and academic performance without interdependent. How Assumptions: Does self-consciousness in the Academic Performance, "Does the restraint in the Academic Performance? Does motivation in the Academic Performance? Does empathy in the Academic Performance from? Affect social skills in the Academic Performance? GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE INVESTIGATION show that emotional intelligence affects academic performance. METHODOLOGY Delimitation of the concepts of research: Personality, Intelligence, Emotion and Academic Performance. Longitudinal study from the year 1994 to 2003 with a sample of 36 students belonging to a population of 153 students. Qualitative analysis of the information obtained in the longitudinal study. Quantitative analysis: * List the factors personality Catell with the factors of Emotional Intelligence model by Daniel Goleman. * The relationship of the factors with Emotional Intelligence RA Case studies with a sample of 11 students belonging to the sample longitudinal study. MEASURING INSTRUMENTS QUALITATIVE RESEARCH Interviews with parents, students, tutors, teachers and psychological center. RESEARCH QUANTITATIVE 1 - Personality Questionnaire for children CPQ, RB Porter and RB Cattell. 2 - Personality Questionnaire for teenagers HSPQ, RB Cattell and MD Cattell. 3 - Personality Profile and Inventory PPG - IPG, MF Gordon PPG With these instruments are obtained data that allowed the intensity with which appears in the development of the personality traits of the same. 4, Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire. Where were obtained scores in self-consciousness, self-motivation, empathy and social skills obtained from the questionnaire IE And lastly academic performance scores obtained on final marks in the courses 94/95, 97/98, 98/99 and 99/00. That is to say we will work with personality traits, factors Emotional Intelligence and academic performance, in a case study from 1994 to the year 2003. The case studies do not allow corroborate that the perception, processing and expression of the information is highly correlated with the perception, processing and expression of emotions and that relationship depends on academic performance and his success or failure in life. Since the delimitation conceptual qualitative research, quantitative research and case study concludes with the verification of our hypothesis. The Autocociencia, The Self, The Grounds, The Empathy and Skills Social factors such as Emotional Intelligence influence the Academic Performance. IMAGE AND PEDAGOGY IN TEXTBOOKS TEACHING OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE.Summary: This paper attempts to analyze the evolution of the image in a selection of textbooks for the teaching of the French language, published by French publishers since the middle of last century to the present day. This thesis consists of two fundamental axes epistemological; on the one hand the visual communication and the other verbal and non-verbal communication. The first is paramount to understanding the signifier and the second, meaning to establish an exchange of ideas between the various components of the communicative act. All learning a language is communication between different individuals, and it can not be carried out without the verbal language. In verbal communication part: the language, language and speech. In addition, it has analyzed the various theories of communication, as well as models communicative teaching has served to assess developments in the teaching of the French language along the brief history studied. Theories of learning that underlie each of the methodologies analyzed, as well as the role of both teacher and the pupil's also part of this study. The display in the study of foreign language is useful as a motivating for learning new linguistic structures, but also serves to bring a teacher to the student to the concentration and focus of the new. We have studied the different properties and functions of the images in the various methodologies studied later, and how the image of mere illustration in the early teaching of the French language has evolved into primary goal for the understanding of the language. The five tested methodologies for the teaching of French are: * Traditional method * * Direct Method Method audio-oral audio visual method estructura-global * * Method nocional-funcional or communicative approach. Once analyzed patterns of communication, the theories of learning and 5 methods for the teaching of French, we found that: 1 - The image has gone from being a mere illustration to occupy a key player in the study of the French language to based on the methodology audio-oral audio-visual. 2 - The image has helped to improve relations and communication levels and develop creativity among students increased the interrelationship between them. 3 - The immediacy of the image allows the transmission of values more easily than oral communication. 4 - The images help reuse of linguistic knowledge.
