Summary: The mass media have come to change Western culture, and represent the psychological instruments through which the younger generation (students) make their representations of the world (via photos), unlike teachers (school) staying connected to a universe of "paper", it has led to the question: perhaps a didactic focused on the image may or may not promote learning curricularmente expected in the discipline of philosophy? Here we outline a strategy that has happened to know what they think and how they act teachers in Philosophy (interview) and students (the questionnaire) relatively to the potential teaching of the image and carry out an experimental situation, with two classes students do 10Â fourth year (Class control-clase pilot) with which tento see the effects of a teaching focused on the exploration gives the moving image (film) in which students learn. This has developed throughout the years 2001/2002. We found three types of teachers who call: the type conservative iconofóbico; type "in transition" and type iconofilo inconsequential. In connection with the students we have tested that are more easily arrest of the picture, contrary to what happens with the written text; have difficulties in the interpretation of written texts estimated better understand a text written in so far as it comes accompanied by image; claim learn best in classrooms where some tapes are submitted pictures. The findings reveal that between the two classes there are significant differences in the final ratings, which are always in favor of "experimental class" differences in the performance of pupils in the class pilot "occurred between pré-teste and the post-teste are statistically significant in all categories. In other words, students in the experimental class "have shown significant progress in the domains of the conceptualization, problematization and argumentation; differences in the performance of students in the class of control" that occurred between pré-teste and post-teste are not statistically significant in all categories. When we started testing the two classes showed similar results with respect to the powers that note, it can be said that the achievements of the "class pilot" resulting from the new focus on image. In the particular context of experimentation, it has been possible to confirm that the picture may play the role of backbone of a model of interaction pedagógico-didáctica and not only as a supplement to the written text or motivating factor pre-education through text .

Summary: This doctoral research was conducted from deficiencies in the ability of reading for students of basic education in most Latin American countries, particularly Colombia where he conducted research, a situation that led the author to ask what impact was in the process of reading the use of hypertext. To make the research was designed and built a system using closed hypertext software author Toolbook 5.0. The system was composed of simple text, text easy, and difficult texts hypertext complete and incomplete. The objectives were formulated seeking to establish the differential impact that might have different types of text and hypertext in reading and in the same vein were made assumptions. In addition to these objectives and assumptions were established patterns navigation hypertextual using subjects in the sample. The investigation was a quasi-analytical. It worked with a sample of 128 students divided into two groups: 64 under hypertexts and 64 subjected to electronic texts simple. Of the group subjected to hypertext obtained a subsample of students with high and low performance reader in which explored the differences in their reading compared to the different types of hypertext. For the matching of the assumptions used to design measures repeated in a number of ways. The results indicate that there are significant differences in reading comprehension among the groups subject to electronic texts simple and subjected to hypertext. There are also significant differences in reading among students with high and low performance reader. It was further established that stronger explaining differences in the two groups was the variable fácil-difícil and the variable completo-incompleto not focused on these differences. The thesis provides, in addition, a model representation of navigation routes hypertextual.

Summary: The higher education and organizations are the areas most adopting the online context as carriers of communication, integration and mediation of knowledge. Our study refers particularly to higher education via the Internet. This study joins others who attempt to provide this type of educational effectiveness needed to lead to the achievement of good results. Thus, the supply of training can be improved and expanded, providing the opportunity for thousands of people to benefit from the studies via the Internet, independent of the geographical location, weather, work, sex, race, health and other features. As has not been configured yet a theory or a body of knowledge to explain and justify, in a systematic and comprehensive way, the foundations of higher education via the Internet, we support the development of their learning processes in some theories of learning - they have historically proven its worth as tools for understanding and improving educational processes. In this respect, our study makes a comprehensive set of quality criteria selected from some theories of learning based on constructivist concepts, with the intention of assisting the teacher in mediation knowledge and the student to achieve their learning objectives and besides the personal development of community development. To make this project has been instrumental work methodology used as a literature review, in order to clarify the state of affairs on distance education, and more specifically related to this new technology. We have also conducted a review of the various theories of learning. After analyzing and selecting some learning theories, based on constructivist concepts, we plan on the online context, always bearing in mind the area of higher education. From there, configure a set of comprehensive quality of higher education through the Internet. In the empirical part, through an instrument developed for the analysis of different valuations of teachers and students, we know the distribution of the ratings given by teachers and students, in terms of importance and the degree of rehabilitation of the criteria quality selected. Profundizamos more on the ratings given by the group of teachers because the quality of teacher training particularly important in this environment. The adequacy of the design of this study is based on the objectives of this and the possibilities of carrying it out. Therefore, the design is based on a descriptive approach that informs us about the perception that students and teachers are on the criteria selected from some theories of learning, providing a theoretical and empirical basis for guiding the development of learning processes the higher education via the Internet.
