  • THE COUNCIL GUIDING PARENTS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS

    Summary: This thesis tries to respond to demands for guidance who have families to the school at a time when evolving very important as adolescence. The theoretical model we adopted was based on the systemic view of the family.     Summary: The starting point for this research was to analyze the life course and professional men and women when about ten years ago that ended his university studies to explore the differences between the supports and challenges both internal and external that they have found some and others, and how gender differences have marked these routes at the time of elections life and his career. To study the itineraries of women and men participating in this investigation, part of their career plans and life at the time that they had completed their studies universitariós, to be able to make a projection for ten years, a period in which have been putting in both facets of their lives, in order to ascertain the extent to which they have complied or not these projections to its possible implementation and the resulting level of satisfaction when comparing the initial projects with their present situation. The research is divided into two parts: the first is characterized by the collection of information through questionnaires generated itself, which were provided to students in promoting 1992-1993 three centers belonging to the University of Cordoba, and the second as part information gathering was done through group interviews. All this has been able to analyze the relationship between the number, diversity and level of professions and axes "sex" and "trajectory" and the priority given to the emotional options off the professional or vice versa in relation to sex, as well the various factors that have affected the restructuring of the routes of these women and men noting the differences between them. The subject of this dissertation is justified by the desire to contribute to a possible educational intervention with dírectrices that promote real equality, highlighting the benefits on the thinking of students can be obtained through the intervention critical sensitized faculty, as well as power develop guidelines for intervention in the various fields of vocational guidance coeducativa that seeks not only locate in the labor market, but also help find strategies to deal with the public and private guidance on the fact that socio-professional and vital will find the youth. Based on the conclusions drawn in this investigation we see the need to influence the search for different models and strategies that enable improved life in the life course and professional women, from very early ages, face the reality of a society that is not conducive to equal and vital career choices among both sexes.
