    Summary: The Intervention Group Counseling for Women Affected of Fibromyalgia visa enhance health aspects and improve the coping of the disease. It is based on the psychology of health and the Model Biopsicosocial Engel (1977). Trátase an Experiment Design Unifactorial Intergroup with Measure Pre and Post-Test in which applies psychological treatment on the basis of Psychotherapy Integration (Goldfried, 1996) and the psychology of groups to 25 affected (experimental group) over 30 sessions hour and a half once a week and can be compared to another group that is not provided psychotherapy (Control Group Waiting). Statistical analysis of the Program SPSS version 11.0 for Windows indicates some statistically significant results. Women Intercepted have improved in part the social climate family; levels of anxiety. The levels of depression have changed and used some styles and different coping strategies of women not intervened. The subjective perception of pain has not been different in the affected after the intervention. Destacase The clinical relevance of treatment because the research shows that the experimental group has been influenced by the Psychological Intervention Group.

    Summary: The fundamental objective of this research is to assess the psychosocial aspects of health in women diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and its correlation with unaffected women (N = 120). Its frame of reference the theoretical contributions of Health Psychology, the Fibromyalgia and the contribution of the Model Biopsicosocial (Engel, 1977). The assessment instruments used are: "Scale of Social Climate" (FES), "Inventory Status Anxiety and Answers" (ISRA), "Inventory for the Beck Depression" (BDI), "Styles Inventory Strategic Afrontamiento "and the" Auto registration. " The data obtained through statistical analysis using the program SPSS version 11.0 for Windows indicate that the results are inconclusive regarding the presence of psychosocial aspects differential in women diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when compared with women who do not have the disease, although not all are statistically significant. They present a social climate and family coping strategies and styles very similar to those not suffering from Fibromyalgia but reflect higher levels of anxiety and depressive symptoms.
