DESIGN AND VALIDATION OF TWO QUESTIONNAIRES TO MEASURE ANXIETY AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS MATHEMATICS STUDENTS IN COMPULSORY SECONDARY EDUCATIONAuthor: Mato Vazquez Maria Dorinda. Year: 2005. Summary: This research aims to design and validate two questionnaires to measure anxiety and attitudes towards mathematics in students Compulsory Secondary Education and analyze the attitudes and anxiety of the students and how performance can be seen influenced by them. The study sample consists of 1220 students, of both sexes, belonging to public institutions, and private concerted Compulsory Secondary Education of A Coruna and information is collected through working sessions conducted in regular school hours. The results of these tests are analyzed through the SPSS statistical analysis package (version 11.0) through the technique of exploratory factor analysis and the method of principal components with varimax rotation. It calculates the reliability of the questionnaires through the Cronbach alpha value and analyzes the behavior of each item with regard to reliability, as well as qualitative analysis. Through the ANOVA analyzed associations between variables and influences center, course, sex, profession and studies of parents and mothers. It completes the analysis of evidence as proof contrast Scheffé and Nonparametric of Kruskal-Wallis test. Finally, to understand the general and specific variables anxiety and attitude on the academic performance using the Pearson correlation and multiple regression procedure. The results also show differences as introducing students in response to variable center, course, sex, studies and careers of their father and mother, both in terms of attitudes as regards anxiety, and reveals that attitudes and anxiety affect the performance of learning mathematics. Summary: The healthy spouse is the most important source of support in the psychological adaptation of the patient with cancer. However, it was not known yet whether those behaviors support marriage, appearing with the disease, help the sick. In addition, to evaluate the time or the stage of disease would clarify whether a marital support focused on the psychosocial needs of the patient is more beneficial in the first years after diagnosis than in later years. The sample consisted of 99 patients with cancer, married or living together as a couple. Participants agreed to a secure web page where completed questionnaires and scale Support Marital Specific Cancer (AMEC), created this for this study. The results indicated that the AMEC was associated with a greater ability to adapt psychological (all p? .05).
