MODEL QUALITY OF LIFE SCHALOCK AND EXECUTIONER (2002/2003): MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS.Author: MARTIN MARTIN JUAN CARLOS. Year: 2005. University: SALAMANCA [ www.usal.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE PSICOLOGIA. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE EDUCACION. Summary: The objective of this research has been to validate both the scale (Verdugo et al., 2005) as the theoretical model of Quality of Life (Schalock and Verdugo 2002/2003) in people with intellectual disabilities, through multivariate analysis. The quality of life in this group, according to the theoretical model proposed by Schalock and Verdugo (2002/2003), is composed of eight dimensions: emotional well-being, physical well-being, physical, interpersonal relationships, social inclusion, personal development, self-determination and rights . We assessed the quality of life under the prospects both objective and subjective. The instrument used was the Quality of Life Scale for people with intellectual disabilities (Verdugo, Arias et al., 2005). We use a sample of convenience (not probability) composed of 413 people (156 women and 250 men) with intellectual disabilities, older than 18 years of the provinces of Palencia, Salamanca and Valladolid. We employ methods graphics display categorical data collected by Friendly (2000), as are graphics: mosaic, and agree fourfold in the objective and subjective scales. The properties of the instrument and model (scale subjective) were evaluated using confirmatory factor analysis of the first order, thus allowing us to specify assumptions on the factorial structure of the model, then perform analysis on the visual projection of the data (items) on a two-dimensional space, based on artificial neural networks type auto-organized maps (SOM) and GTM (Generative Topographics Mapping), finally comparing with the results obtained in the non-metric multi-dimensional scaling. Multidimensional Data can be displayed in two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces, maintaining a topographic order. Conclusions: "
VALIDATION OF THE SPANISH VERSION OF THREE INSTRUMENTS FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF SOCIAL PHOBIA IN ADOLESCENT POPULATION BETWEEN 14 AND 17 YEARS. SOCIAL PHOBIA SCALE (SPS), SOCIAL INTERACTION ANXIETY SCALE (SIAS) AND SELF-STATEMENTS DURING PUBLICAuthor: RIVERO BURON RAUL. Year: 2005. University: SALAMANCA [ www.usal.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE PSICOLOGIA. Place of preparation: DEPARTAMENTO DE PERSONALIDAD, EVALUACION Y TRATAMIENTO PSICOLOGICOS. MOTIVATION, COEDUCATION AND DISCIPLINE STUDENTS IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION.Author: MARTÍNEZ GALINDO M. CELESTINA. Year: 2005. University: MURCIA [ www.um.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN. Place of preparation: FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN. Summary: This research is conducting a study of the relationships between several key elements in the academic achievement of students as motivation, perceived igualdad-discriminación transmitted for the teaching of physical education and behavioral aspects, such as the perception the strategies used by Professor pair maintain discipline in the classroom and genetic reasons to be disciplined learners in physical education class, in order to help understand the mechanisms influencing motivational processes that are teaching place in the physical education classroom. To achieve these objectives are carried out an initial study through which could be adapted scales Greek "strategies for maintaining discipline" and "reasons for the discipline" created by papaioannou 1998 the Spanish educational context, in order to implement them and relate subsequently, the rest of scales used in the second study. The results highlight the disposicional guidance to the task and the perception of a climate motivational involved with the task associate and predict the perception of equal treatment, the greater reasons for the student to be disciplined and a teacher concerned and motivated to maintain discipline in the classroom, while guidance disposicionales the ego, and the motivational climate ego involved to associate and predict (the perception of discrimination, undisciplined behavior in the student and teacher motivation and carefree to consolidate disciplined behavior in physical education class . ADAPTACIÓ TO CASTELLÀ OF PERSONALITY DIAGNOSTIC QUESTIONNAIRE-4 +: PROPIETATS PSICOMÈTRIQUES IN POBLACIÓ CLINIC I IN STUDENTS.Author: CALVO PIÑERO NATALIA. Year: 2006. University: AUTÓNOMA DE BARCELONA [ www.uab.es]. Place of defense: FACULTAD DE MEDICINA. Place of preparation: DEPARTAMENTO DE PSIQUIATRIA Y MEDICINA LEGAL. Summary: The PDQ-4 + is a self-report questionnaire that diagnosed the 10 personality disorders and two apèndice of DSM-IV. Its 99 items in a format response V / F is a direct translation of the diagnostic criteria for disorders perosnalidad axis II. Includes two scales to control responses: Compliance social and Infrecuencia. In addition, there is the scale of clinical significance, which is a brief interview after the questionnaire was administered. Its goal is reduir the number of false positives that tends to generate the questionnaire, thereby confirming the possible diagnoses. The objectives of this work have been the Spanish translation and adaptation of PDQ-4 + and the study of its psychometric properties in a clinical (Study 1) and a sample of students (Study 2). It has examined fiabilitat; the internal structure; concurrent validity, convergent and discriminant of their data PDQ4 + with those obtained in other assessment tools (ICT EPQ-R, MCMI-II and KSP), the study of the scale of clinical Significance, and the comparison of the results of two samples them.
