Summary: The purpose of this thesis is to establish a methodology interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of disorders of the voice (disfonías) where doctors otorrinolaringólogos, speech therapists and psychologists intervene jointly. In the first part of this work is carried out a major review of the key concepts that affect the generation of sound in the vocal mechanism, anatomic substrate of voice, clinical and experimental main classifications, as well as a review of the theoretical most important methods of evaluation and treatment of the disorder disfónico where he says the main constraints. After a poll conducted by surveys aimed at Units ENT hospital Spaniards about the current situation in the management of disfonías arise, the following objectives: 1-To conduct an empirical study with a clinical subjects disfónicos (n = 42 ), which serves to identify those who differ significantly from the group of subjects taken as control (n = 21). 2-systematize the process of assessing the disfonías, by proposing a diagnostic instrument (Protocol "Teatinos") which may pose a comprehensive assessment tool is permeable to different types and levels of severity of disturbance disfónico. 3-To compare the effectiveness of two conceptually different types of treatment (therapy logopédica vs.entrenamiento in hygiene vocal), effectively controlling the specific action of the therapeutic change through those parameters identified as most sensitive. The data obtained through quantitative and qualitative analysis show: A - The more effective rehabilitation logopédica the handling of disfonías functional, keeping these improvements until 4 months after treatment is finished. B-Those parameters with high value diagnosis and prognosis are kind of aerodynamic, subjective perception, laringoscópicos and espetrográficos. C - The positive effects of speech therapy treatment does not occur uniformly in all subjects disfónicos nor in the individual case. The findings of this study can allow a firm proposal for the Protocol "Teatinos" can be regarded as a useful assessment tool for professionals in the clinical area and speech therapy.

Summary: The communication ability is a deeply connected with human beings. In fact, the language, resutado the evolution of the early exchanges communicative, is one of the most important vehicles that employ people to interact with our environment. The world is perceived, in many instances, through language, which makes it an essential part of the functional development of the individual. In the case of deaf or with significant hearing loss, its relationship withthe environment from birth develops in a very different way. The weight will take for these people and their visual dimensions is very prominent in the perception and representation of the world in which they live. This thesis seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of a software designed to check for improvement in oral language learning of children with hearing impairment; with the idea of getting an impact on the optimization of production and the fonomas vowel both help the intelligibility of speech is these people as a support system and speech therapists. The development of this software is beginning on the Project Isaeus (TIDE initiative, Telematics for the disabled and elderly, the Fourth Framework Program of the European Union) and conclude cone l prototype Marius which is the final product with which the study is conducted.
