Summary: The market demand of subjects relevant reinforces prescription on teachers, educational institutions because they are assigned the role of students in developing those skills necessary for their employability productive. If you occupy an important place in this social, educational institutions must be organizations in the service of economic competitiveness, which will have to adapt their teaching to the demands of the demand for the new socio-economic purposes. Moreover, if the objective is to develop in students those skills or behavior causalmete related to an efficient job performance, the teachers have to assume ownership of these same powers to be transmitted to the students. To achieve this thought has developed a speech that would allow us to explain how the criticism of the spirit of capitalism based on a logic of knowledge, has been progressively subject to the requirements of flexibility of the capitalist economy to transform itself into a logic of competition. This new logic has affected all social institutions without exception lasa academic and even determine a new framework for the exercise of teaching, and whose objective is not related to its ability to generate and transmit knowledge thoughtful, but for its effectiveness to drive the students toward solving practical problems. To make the specific analysis and field work, we have focused our study in the College of Business (ESNE), referring first to the educational institution as an organization and then detailed the characteristics of its faculty as well as the results coming in interviews with those professors at the School better valued by students during the course 2002-2003 and 2003-2004. We use it for alternative methods considered by this more involved with qualitative data, the small sample sizes and character of the active subjects of the investigation as producers of knowledge. Finally, by way of discussion, it has been culturally contextualized.
