Summary: This falls within Doctoral Thesis, a joint research project between the group Biotransformaciones the Department of Organic Chemistry and Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy (UCM) and the company Hispanagar SA Based on several screening conducted by the research group, were selected various strains of yeast and fungi capable of performing reactions oxido-reclucción and monooxigenación such as Williopsis Satumus. NCYC 2313. Pachysolen tannophilus NCYC 1597 and Williopsis califomica CBS 2158, Geotrichum candidum NCYC49, Diplogelasinospora Grovesi IMI171018, MonaskuskaoliangCBS, 302.78. They were also selected several bacteria capases making reaccionesde síntesisde nucleósidostales suchas Photobacterium damsalae CECT 626, Serratia marcenses CECT 977 and Enterobacter: gergoviae (CECT 857), amnigenus (4078) and aerogenes (CECT 684). All these strains were subjected to various processes immobilization by entrapment to assess for the first time, applications of agares and agarosas the company Hispanagar SA As matrices inmovilizadon 'whole cell and the use of biocatalysts obtained at different Biotransformaciones. We different methodologies immobilization taking into account the morphology of each strain being biocatalizador effective obtained by the method of formation of microplates.
