Summary: The work reflected in this thesis aims to contribute to a better characterization of the mechanisms through which different therapeutic agents BMS-214662, Apo2L/TRAIL and Interferón-alfa) in cell lines of multiple myeloma (MM) and plasma tumor cells extracted from patients myeloma. The GM, as its name suggests, is a "oma" or tumor that afeca to "myelo" marrow, and currently remains incurable. The great heterogeneity among patients with respect to the degree of affectation, the progression of the disease, response to treatment ... Hinder the achievement of effective therapies. It necessitates a search for new treatments, the characterization of the mechanisms that induce apoptotic and the parameters that determine the sensitivity of the cells to these agents, all with the goal of designing a more effective therapy, individual and rational.
