Summary: In clinical practice the use of the kits currently marketed by pharmaceutical companies for the diagnosis of allergy to beta-lactámicos presents some controversy, which has carried out a very detailed study of this topic. Following evaluation of the stability of aqueous solutions of bencilpeniciloato sodium (2) and amoxiciloato sodium (5), it appears that this product hydrolysis ring beta-lactama of penicillins, epimeriza readily in aqueous solution.
