Summary: The thesis aims to analyze eating disorders from a sociological perspective and feminist. He was interested in the social fact and not by the individual behavior. It addresses the problem from the perspective qualitatively with a double look. On the one hand analyzes the speech científico-médico of anorexia looking for the elements that underscores the logic of the argument and implicit biases, and on the other hand, the discourse of women diagnosed from the theory of gracious action. We use concepts dela feminist theory and the theory of the structure as. Gender, system of domination sex / gender, sexual ideology, individuation and reflexivity. The sources are of two types. To analyze the speech doctor turned to scientific articles indexed in databases CIVNDOC (EMI and ISOC), and to analyze the speech of women are using in-depth interviews with women diagnosed with anorexia and / or bulima. The results show gender bias in the construction of speeches doctors, nutritionists and preventivistas of eating disorders. Similarly shown the limitations of neokrapelimo as mainstream in psychiatry and open questions in the field epidemiology. Thus, it will allow us to understand the reasons and motives that lead to women, thoughtful actors, to make decisions about food and opens new perspectives to address the meaning of the body.

Summary: Centered on the analysis of the behavior of women from the point of view of its workers in the labor market and its relationship with the onset of motherhood, this thesis aims to give an account of how age distribution of the activity rate of women, in general, shows a reduction in ages associated with the onset of motherhood is it this new stage of the cause of that behavior? By developing empirical four years, from a longitudinal perspective, we try to account for these issues. Thus, in the first of four exercises, which develops a non - parametric approach to the problem, determining the form of distribution of participation over the life of women under study, being empirical justification for the selection of covariates that will be used in the specification of the subsequent models. In the second year, by the estimate of a multivariate model of duration discreet, he examines the likelihood of participating in the labor market after the birth of their first child, and which confirms the importance of human capital accumulation and the characteristics of employment such as those that increase the likelihood of participation. The third year, which estimated a number of models of competition risk, we see the relevance of the kind of relationship that women had, prior to the start of motherhood, when determining the likelihood of participation. Finally, in the fourth year, he examines the career of women, once motherhood, very significantly reduces their chances to leave, either temporarily or permanently, the labor market. The implications of these results on the design of policies aimed at increasing the levels of participation in the workforce, suggest the need for progress on the flexibility of the labor market for which is considered insufficient tax incentives apply to the recruitment of women ( quotas) encouraging reflect on the relevance of betting rather by the quality of jobs that are created. Here it is understood that the benefits that derive from Spanish society such change in the approach labor policy, could have implications of various sizes in both the micro and macro levels either, managing to establish itself as an important tool when bet on higher productivity that, as of today, is still one of the major imbalances in the Spanish economy.
